Arkansas: Bret Bielema is promoting defensive backs coach Paul Rhoads to defensive coordinator source tells FootballScoop.
North Carolina: North Carolina is hiring Texas A&M's Terry Joseph to coach defensive backs, according to ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.
Eastern Washington (FCS): Following the departure of Beau Baldwin, EWU will move forward with interim co-head coaches in run game coordinator Aaron Best and defensive coordinator Jeff Schmedding.
Cal: Eastern Washington (FCS) head coach Beau Baldwin will be the new offensive coordinator at Cal FootballScoop has learned. Baldwin has coached quarterbacks or served as offensive coordinator or head coach for 22 seasons...all in FCS in Washington. Baldwin was a candidate for the head coaching position at Nevada earlier this year and has been a candidate for several FBS positions over the past few years.
Chicago Bears: Dolphins assistant offensive line coach Jeremiah Washburn will become the Bears' offensive line coach, per Alex Marvez.
Houston Texans: The Texans and offensive coordinator George Godsey have mutually parted ways.
Tennessee: Former head coach Phillip Fulmer has emerged as a candidate for the vacant AD position, per Dan Wolken of USA Today.
South Florida: Charlie Williams has officially joined the staff as wide receivers coach.
Oakland Raiders: The organization has promoted midwest scout Trey Scott to the position of assistant director of player personnel. Scott has spent the past five seasons with the team, and was with the Redskins prior to that.
Washington Redskins: Former 49ers linebackers coach Jason Tarver will also interview for the defensive coordinator job, per the Washington Post. The organization also met with Rob Ryan, per reports earlier today.
Western Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop thatDavenport (D-II - MI) head coach Lou Esposito is leaving to become the co-defensive coordinator on Tim Lester's staff at WMU. Esposito was named head coach and started the program from scratch in 2014, and the program is transitioning from NAIA to D-II this fall.
Colorado State-Pueblo (D-II): Former Rhode Island linebackers coach Mark Criner is joining the program as co-defensive coordinator, per the Pueblo Chieftan. Criner will share the co-defensive coordinator title with defensive backs coach / recruiting coordinator Donnell Leomiti who was recently promoted to the post. Criner takes the place of Hunter Hughes who became the head coach West Texas A&M (D-II).
Jacksonville Jaguars: Chip Kelly is at the Jags' facility today, "presumably to meeting about the club's offensive coordinator position," according to Hays Carlyon of 1010XL radio in Jacksonville. Incumbent Nathaniel Hackett is expected to interview as well, per Ian Rapoport.
Tennessee Titans: The Titans have added Frisman Jackson as wide receivers coach and Craig Aukerman as assistant special teams coach. Jackson spent last season as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach at Temple, and Aukerman was the special teams coordinator for the Chargers last year.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns are set to hire Blake Williams as linebackers coach and Jerod Kruse as assistant defensive backs coach, according to multiple outlets. Williams is the son of longtime NFL defensive coordinator -- and current Browns defensive coordinator -- Gregg Williams.
Buffalo Bills: Mike Waufle, who spent the past five seasons with the Rams, has been named defensive line coach. He joins Bob Babich (LBs) and Leslie Frazier (DC) as members of Sean McDermott's defensive staff.
Denver Broncos: John Benton has agreed to terms to join the staff as assistant offensive line coach. Benton has 30 years of coaching experience, including 13 seasons with NFL offensive lines. He most recently served as the Jacksonville Jaguars offensive line coach in 2016, and previously worked with the Dolphins, Texans, and Rams.
Alabama: The Tide have formally announced the addition of Greg Byrne as their new athletic director, effective March 1.
New England Patriots: Josh McDaniels has confirmed that he is staying in New England, adding "At this time, It's best for my family and myself to remain here," per Albert Breer.
Boise State: Former Boise State tight end Derrick Schouman has joined the staff as an offensive grad assistant.
Alabama: The program has announced that Mike Locksley has been promoted to a full-time offensive assistant role. His specific role has not yet been announced. Locksley spent last season in an offensive analyst role.
San Francisco 49ers: Multiple outlets are reportingthat Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels will likely pull his name from consideration for the Niners head coaching job and will return to New England in 2017. Albert Breer adds that the coach to watch now for the Niners is Kyle Shanahan.
Washington Redskins: The Redskins will interview Rob Ryan for their defensive coordinator position reports Albert Breer.
Tennessee: North Carolina defensive backs coach Charlton Warren has accepted the same role at Tennessee. Willie Martinez will not return to the Vols staff. Sources tell FootballScoop more changes are coming at UT in the coming days...
Eastern Washington: Head coach Beau Baldwin will earn $240,000 this year (plus up to $34,000 in bonuses) with annual raises of $10,000 on a new contract that runs through 2021, according to contract details obtained by the Spokane Spokesman-Review.
Minnesota Vikings: Former UCLA offensive coordinator Kennedy Polamalu will be the new running backs coach for the Vikings reports Alex Marvez.
Eastern Illinois: Former Oklahoma State defensive end and student assistant Victor Irokansi has accepted the defensive line grad assistant position at Eastern Illinois source tells FootballScoop.
Elon: Ohio Dominican running backs / special teams coordinator Matt Merritt is joining the Elon staff in the same capacity source tells FootballScoop. Merritt was part of the Ohio State staff from 2013-2015.
Penn State: Former Princeton assistant director of operations Andrew P. Goodman is joining the Penn State staff as assistant recruiting coordinator source tells FootballScoop.
Cabrillo College: Humboldt State running backs coach Vince Gonzalez is joining new head coach Darren Arbet's staff at Cabrillo source tells FootballScoop.
Itawamba (CC - MS): University of Minnesota offensive quality control Will Peagler is joining the Itawamba staff coaching the offensive line source tells FootballScoop. Outback previously served as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach at Jones Junior College and as run game coordinator / offensive line / recruiting coordinator at Coffeyville. His prior stops included stints at Louisiana-Lafayette, Valdosta State and Clemson.
NC State:Rutgers safeties coach Aaron Henry is leaving to take a similar position at NC State. Henry was a defensive back at Wisconsin when Dave Doeren was the defensive coordinator.
Western Michigan: New head coach Tim Lester will earn $225,000 from the University and $575,000 from donors for a total of $800,000 annually, per MLive. PJ Fleck made the same salary last season and was the highest paid coach in MAC history. Bonuses and incentives could take Lester's salary up to $1.1 million.
Eastern Illinois (FCS): Per source, former Oklahoma State defensive end and student assistant Victor Irokansi has accepted the defensive graduate assistant job at Eastern Illinois working with the defensive line.
VMI: Per source, Tommy Galt is expected to be named the offensive line coach at VMI. Galt most recently served as a graduate assistant at Penn State.
