UCF: Toledo head coach Jason Candle is expected to interview today for the head coaching job, per a tweet from Ryan Bass. In addition, offensive coordinator Troy Walters is interviewing this afternoon, per a tweet from Brandon Helwig.
Nebraska: Nebraska's assistant salaries have been released, as tweeted by Husker Illustrated's Sean Callahan -- Erik Chinander, $800,000; Greg Austin, Mike Dawson and Jovan Dewitt, $475,000; Mario Verduzco, $350,000; and Travis Fisher and Ryan Held, $300,000.
Edward Waters (NAIA - FL): Head coach Alvin Wyatt has resigned after four years with the school. A national search for his replacement will begin after athletic director Stanley Cromartie has a chance to meet with the staff. Wyatt, the winningest head coach at Bethune-Cookman (FCS) went 9-29 overall, and 1-10 this past season.
Eastern Illinois (FCS): Per source, Navarro College (JC - TX) offensive coordinator Scott Parr has accepted the offensive coordinator job.
New York Giants: Ernie Accorsi, the former GM of the Baltimore Colts, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants, is serving as a consultant for the search for a new GM and head coach, per a tweet from Adam Schefter.
UCF: Kevin Sumlin is "officially out of the running" to become the new head coach at UCF, per a tweet from Brandon Helwig. Sources tell us that Toledo head coach Jason Candle is very interested in the job.
Arizona State: Athletic director Ray Anderson noted today that Herm Edwards will get a five-year deal.
Tennessee: Sources tell FootballScoop Phillip Fulmer, after being turned down by a few coaches, has his candidates.
Arizona State: Herm Edwards noted during his introductory press conference today that he'll be with ESPN until Friday, and he will then begin recruiting.
Nebraska: Scott Frost has announced the additions of the following assistant coaches to his staff (each coming from UCF); Greg Austin (OL), Erik Chinander (DC), Mike Dawson (DL), Jovan Dewitt (OLBs / STC), Travis Fisher (DBs), Ryan Held (RBs), and Mario Verduzco (QBs).
Nebraska: Scott Frost's buyout from Nebraska if terminated without cause is $5 million per year for each of the first five-years of his seven-year deal, and then $2.5 million per year thereafter, according to a tweet from Steve Berkowitz, who adds that Nebraska will cover the $3 million buyout Frost owes UCF.

Nebraska: Scott Frost's memorandum of understanding outlines performance bonuses of up to $950,000 and includes two-year contracts for all assistants, per tweets from Parker Gabriel. The staff will receive bonuses of up to 15% of their salary for a conference title, and 25% for a College Football Playoff appearance, Gabriel adds.
New York Giants: The Giants have fired head coach Ben McAdoo partway through his second season leading the team, per multiple reports. GM Jerry Reese is also being let go, per Aditi Kinkhabwala.
Tennessee: With the search now being led by Phil Fulmer, Bruce Feldman tweets that Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables and SMU head coach Chad Morris are two names to keep in mind.
Florida State: Nigel Burton tweets that Willie Taggart is flying to meet with the Seminoles, and "if meet goes well, UO expects him to accept the job."
Southwestern Oklahoma State (D-II): Per source, Southeast Missouri (D-II) offensive coordinator / offensive line and assistant head coach Jon Wiemers is joining the staff at SWOSU as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach.
Florida: Mississippi State assistant AD for football operations Jon Clark will join Dan Mullen in Gainesville in a similar capacity, a source tells FootballScoop.
Mississippi State: Andrew Warsaw has agreed to join the staff as director of football operations, sources tell FootballScoop. Warsaw was previously the DFO at Purdue and joins the Bulldog staff after serving as director of game operations for the NFL.
UCF: Clemson co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott is "getting some traction" for the head coaching job at UCF, according to a tweet from Bruce Feldman.
Humboldt State (D-II - CA): The University will announce their decision tomorrow regarding the future of the program which is highly in doubt due to poor management of funds by the university. University officials state that HSU athletics has been running at about a $1 million deficit per year for the past few years and they somehow believe the best solution for the University is to stop playing football. From a thousand miles away, eliminating football sure does look like the wrong answer here; but unfortunately we're told the local feeling is that this is the decision HSU officials are likely to announce tomorrow. Let's hope not.
Montana: Per source, new head coach Bobby Hauck has offered the defensive coordinator job to San Diego State linebackers coach Zach Arnett. However, we understand that there is a very real possibility that Arnett remains at SDSU. Will update.
Arkansas: Yesterday Gus Malzahn agreed to a substantial extension at Auburn. Our note from Thursday about where the Hogs would turn if Gus were to choose Auburn. We'll keep you posted as this one plays out.
Arizona State: Late last night, Arizona State officially announced Herm Edwards as their new head coach, and their press release on the move is, well, let's just say it's interesting.
