Utah: Navy defensive tackles coach Sione Po'uha will join Kyle Whittingham's staff, filling the void created when Gary Andersen took the head coaching position at Utah State source tells FootballScoop.

Drake (FCS - IA): Rick Fox has announced he is stepping down as head coach. "My wife, Julie, and I felt that this is the right time for us as a family and the right time for Drake football for me to step away from being the head coach at Drake University," Fox said. "The 11 years here, including the last five as head coach, have been incredibly rewarding." Fox leaves the school with a 33-22 record, leaving on a near upset of No. 24 Iowa State on Dec. 1. 

USC: Clay Helton is hiring Boise State defensive line coach Chad Kauha'aha'a as his defensive line coach and former Bowling Green head coach Mike Jinks as running backs coach, tweets Gerard Martinez of USCFootball.com. Jinks previously coached running backs on Kliff Kingsbury's Texas Tech staff.

Kansas State: Kansas State has hired Chris Klieman. Watch and listen for yourself as Gene Taylor makes the call to officially offer Klieman "an absolute dream job."

Eastern Illinois: The school has now announced the hire of Adam Cushing to lead the program. Here's our story from yesterday.

Kansas: The addition of DJ Eliot as defensive coordinator has now been announced.

Temple: An update on Temple's search where sources tell us they are targeting (some really good) defensive minded coaches...

Maryland: Rutgers corners coach / passing game coordinator Cory Robinson is leaving for a position on Mike Locksley's staff, per a report. Robinson previously worked for the Terps as director of player of personnel in 2015, he coached the corners at Toledo in 2016, and then was at Temple in 2017.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State is looking for a wide receivers graduate assistant. Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA) and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000/year and Full-Tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled. Estimated start date is January 10, 2019. ECU: Mike Houston formally announced ten assistants are joining him from James Madison (FCS - VA) including; OC Donnie Kilpatrick, OL coach Steve Shankweiler, DC / safeties coach Bob Trott, STC / Bandits coach Roy Tesh, outside WRs coach Drew Dudzik, DL coach Jeff Hanson, TEs / Inside WRs / recruiting coordinator Fontel Mines, RBs coach De'Rail Sims, director of football administration Dale Steele and director of strength and conditioning John Williams Jr. In addition, Houston is retaining corners coach Brandon Lynch for the same role on his staff.

Kansas State: Mike Norvell refuted his reported interest in the Kansas State opening through a series of tweets on Monday afternoon.

Birmingham Iron (AAF): Head coach Tim Lewis has announced the additions of Florida Tech (D-II) defensive coordinator Rick Minter as defensive coordinator, Alabama analyst Alex Mortensen as wide receivers coach, former Bills, Jets, Vikings and Chargers defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell as linebackers coach, and Lori Locust (who participated in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship Program most recently) as a defensive line assistant.

Northern Arizona (FCS): Memphis defensive coordinator Chris Ball will be the next Northern Arizona head coach, sources tell FootballScoop. Update: The school has announced the hire.

Colorado: Along with Darrin Chiaverini and Darian Hagan, inside linebackers coach Ross Ells and defensive line coach Kwahn Drake will also be retained on Mel Tucker's staff, per Brian Howell. Earlier this morning we reported that Jay Johnson would be joining Tucker's staff as offensive coordinator after two seasons on the Georgia staff.

Saint Vincent (D-III - PA): Saint Vincent is looking to hire a defensive line coach, and an offensive line coach. These coaches coach will be responsible for coaching their position, film-breakdown (HUDL), scouting reports, recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.Bachelor’s degree preferred. Computer and Hudl proficiency also preferred. Prior coaching or playing experience at college or high school level is desired. Ole Miss: The program has formally announced Mike MacIntyre as defensive coordinator

Liberty: Special teams coordinator / tight ends and fullbacks coach Scott Downing has accepted the vice president for athletics job at Sterling College. Downing joined the staff of Turner Gill back in February of 2016 and originally coached the running backs before shifting to tight ends and fullbacks before the start of the 2016 season.

Butch Jones: Source tells FootballScoop Butch Jones has been offered associate head coach role at Maryland; oh, and as for the offensive coordinator there...well, have a look.

Highland CC (JC - KS): Highland Community College has an immediate opening for a restricted earnings coach. Salary is $10,000 with housing and an opportunity for meals. Preferred position is Offensive Line but will consider best available candidate. Bachelors Degree and college playing experience required. College coaching and hudl experience preferred. Oakland Raiders: General manager Reggie McKenzie has informed his staff that he's been fired, per NFL Network. Update: The team has announced the move.

Lake Erie (D-II - OH): Athletic director Kelley Kish shares with the News-Herald that the last of their interviews for their head coaching job took place on December 8th, and they expect to have someone in place soon. They received more than 250 applicants for the job.

Snow College (JC - UT): Andrew Mitchell, who has spent the past two seasons as offensive coordinator, has been promoted to head coach. Mitchell replaces Paul Peterson, who left to become the head coach at Dixie State (D-II - UT).

St. Olaf (D-III - MN): St. Olaf College has an opening for a defensive restricted earning position. The position includes free housing and a stipend. Interested coaches can contact Mark Kubacki at kubacki@stolaf.edu.

Rochester Community & Technical College (JC - MN): Per source, Stan Bedwell has accepted the offensive coordinator job. Bedwell previosuly coached under Hal Mumme at Belhaven (D-III - MS).

Ball State: Source tells FootballScoop inside linebackers coach Johnny Curtis will not return. Curtis, who was one of Mike Neu's first hires at Ball State, has worked with linebackers and special teams.

Toronto Argonauts: Corey Chamblin has been named head coach of the Argos. Chamblin spent the 2018 season at Arkansas as quality control working with the defensive backs and prior to that was the defensive coordinator for the Argos in 2017.

Kansas State: Here's a Monday morning update on the K-State search, where one dialogue item continues to pop up. 

Colorado: Running backs coach Darian Hagan is expected to be retained on Mel Tucker's new staff, Bruce Feldman tweets.

Florida: Dan Mullen may be onto something here with a new way to impress parents during visits...

NCAA: NCAA president Mark Emmert has signed a contract extension through 2023 with an option for 2024, per Michael Smith of Sports Business Journal.

Bowling Green: Head coach Scot Loeffler has announced the final two additions of his coaching staff in Brian VanGorder and Julian Campenni. VanGorder, the former Louisville, Notre Dame, Auburn, and Georgia defensive coordinator will be the associate head coach working with linebackers, and former Boston College graduate assistant Campenni will work as defensive line coach. In addition, wide receivers coach Erik Campbell will also have the pass game coordinator title, and Jacob Schoonover will be the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach.

Angelo State (D-II - TX): Source tells FootballScoop defensive line coach Pat Hill and linebackers / special teams coordinator George Love were both let go last night.

Auburn: At 10pm last night, Auburn announced the hire of Memphis offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham as their new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. In making the announcement Auburn noted that Gus Malzahn would resume calling the plays and they added passing game coordinator title to receivers coach Kodi Burns.

Massachusetts Maritime Academy (D-III): Massachusetts Maritime has an opening for assistant defensive coach with a strength & conditioning certification. This is a 12-month position that will begin January 2nd, compensation is up to $18,000, room & board while classes are in session (no benefits). Colorado: Mel Tucker is retaining Darrin Chiaverini as part of his staff. Chiaverini spent last season as the co-offensive coordinator / recruiting coordinator / receivers coach.

Texas Southern: Clarence McKinney is planning to add Dave Marsh (offensive coordinator / quarterbacks), Justin Sanders as defensive backs and Terrance White as linebackers coach tweets Bruce Feldman. We previously reported McKinney has retained Dallas Blacklock (running backs).

Masters of Sports Administration:Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Eduction.

Eastern Illinois: The FCS program is pulling in a veteran Big Ten assistant to be their new head coach, per sources.
