Toledo: Mike Bellamy will be the new receivers coach at Toledo source tells FootballScoop. Bellamy spent this past season in a quality control role at Mississippi State.

Cal: Justin Wilcox has now agreed to become the new head coach at Cal reports ESPN's Brett McMurphy who adds that it is a 5 year deal.

West Virginia: Cal offensive coordinator Jake Spavital will be the new offensive coordinator at WVU and Joe Wickline will now serve as offensive line coach sources tell FootballScoop. Bruce Feldman first shared the news.

Reinhardt (NAIA - GA): Offensive line coach James Miller has been promoted to head coach.

Iowa State: Colby Kratch is joining the Iowa State staff as a defensive grad assistant.

Denver Broncos: Running backs coach Eric Studesville has been retained per multiple reports. Also, Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave has accepted the quarterbacks job with the Broncos.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags have retained Todd Wash as defensive coordinator per multiple reports.

Western Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop that Tim Lester will be the new head coach at WMU. Lester is a former WMU quarterback and spent the past two seasons coaching the quarterbacks at Purdue and Syracuse. Prior to his job at Syracuse, Lester served as the head coach at Elmhurst (D-III - IL).

Nebraska: Former UConn head coach Bob Diaco will be the new defensive coordinator on Mike Riley's staff, per multiple outlets. Husker Extra was among the first to report the move.

Elon (FCS): Lehigh (FCS) offensive coordinator Drew Folmar has joined the staff as offensive coordinator, per source.

Lehigh (FCS): Scott Brisson, who previously served as the wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator, has been promoted to offensive coordinator, per source.

Los Angeles Rams: Head coach Sean McVay will call plays, the new head coach said Friday.

UConn: Curome Cox has joined the staff as defensive backs coach. Cox spent the past four seasons at Coastal Carolina where he worked with the defensive backs and special teams, and was a graduate assistant at Maryland for two seasons prior to that.

College Football Playoff Selection Committee: Ohio Stateathletic director Gene Smith will replace Wisconsin AD Barry Alvarez on the College Football Playoff selection committee, according to ESPN. Alvarez's recent three-year term has recently expired, as has Condoleeza Rice's and Bobby Johnson's. ESPN adds that all replacements are expected to be made by the end of January.

Minnesota: Northern Iowa defensive line coach Bryce Paup is leaving to become the defensive line coach for PJ Fleck, sources tell FootballScoop. Pete Thamel has reported the same.

Kansas: Brent Allen, a special teams / defense intern at Michigan State, is joining the Kansas staff in a graduate assistant role.

Independence CC (KS): Per source, Independence has hired Minnesota graduate assistant Lee Grimes as offensive line coach and run game coordinator.

Denver Broncos: The Broncos are working on "finalizing" a deal that would make Mike McCoy the team's offensive coordinator, and Bill Musgrave quarterbacks coach, per Mike Klis.

Southwest Baptist (D-II - MO): Southwest Baptist University is currently seeking an offensive graduate assistant. Candidates with OL or TE playing or coaching experience will be given preference. Duties will be assigned by the head coach and include coaching a position, managing a recruiting area, video work, etc. Interested applicants should submit a resume, list of references and a statement of faith to offensive coordinator, Phil Staback via email at pstaback@sbuniv.edu.

Fresno City College (JC - CA): Patrick Markarian has been hired to coach the offensive line, per source.

Buffalo Bills: New head coach Sean McDermott is retaining special teams coordinator Danny Crossman.

Purdue: Purdue has formally announced Chris Barclay as an offensive quality control assistant and Sean Pugh has director of player development. Barclay was the running backs coach at Western Kentucky last season, while Pugh served as the Hilltoppers' football character coach.

Oregon: Willie Taggart has announced the addition of Joe Salave'a as assistant head coach and defensive line coach. Salave'a spent the past five seasons at Washington State, the first three as defensive line coach before adding assistant head duties heading into the 2015 season.

Alabama: Yesterday we reported that Nick Saban expected to be able to retain Mike Locksley by moving him to an on-the-field role. Brett McMurphy reports today that Locksley will remain at Alabama and is "expected to get on-field job."

Olivet Nazarene (NAIA - IL): The offensive coordinator position has been filled and the program is no longer accepting applicants. Thanks for the overwhelming interest.

San Francisco 49ers: The Niners are interviewing Cardinals VP of player personnel Terry McDonough for their GM spot today.

Oregon: Ryan Bartow of 247 is reporting that Alabama tight ends / offensive tackles coach Mario Cristobal is leaving to become the co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach on Willie Taggart's staff at Oregon. USA Today's Dan Wolken reports the same.

LA Rams: Mike Garafolo reports that the Dolphins have blocked the Rams' request to interview offensive line coach Chris Foerster for their offensive coordinator opening.

Georgia Southern: Tight ends coach / special teams coordinator Chad Lunsford has added the role of assistant head coach.

Cabrillo College (JC - CA): Darren Arbet, the former head coach and GM of the San Jose SaberCats who spent last season as an assistant at Humboldt State (D-II - CA) coaching the linebackers and special teams, has been named head coach at Cabrillo College. Arbet won Arena Bowl titles in 2002, 2004, 2007, and 2015 and was inducted into the Arena Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

Indiana: Carter Whitson, who served as the senior director of football recruiting at Indiana the past two seasons, has been hired as the new head coach at Martinsville HS (IN).

Mount Union (D-III - OH): Mason HS (MI) head coach Jerry VanHavel is leaving to join Mount Union as a program assistant, according to the Lansing State Journal. VanHavel was 169-88 leading the program, including a 9-2 record this past fall.

Indiana Wesleyan (NAIA - IN): Indiana Wesleyan is seeking a full-time Offensive Line Coach. Other duties include recruiting qualified student athletes, use of recruiting software, camp operations, scouting, film breakdown, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, along with any other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Department. Indiana Wesleyan Universityis an evangelical Christian university. Successful candidates must adhere, promote and contribute to the Christ-centered environment. Los Angeles Chargers: The Chargers have agreed on a 4-year deal with new head coach Anthony Lynn, per Adam Schefter.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags have hired Joe DeCamillis as special teams coordinator. The longtime NFL veteran spent last season with the Broncos.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Joey Porter will return to coaching staff for their game against the Chiefs this weekend, per Adam Schefter.

Cal: Sources tell FootballScoop that Ken Niumatalolo broke off discussions with Cal yesterday for their head coaching job. Word broke last night that Cal had then begun negotiations with Justin Wilcox.

Massachusetts Maritime (D-III - MA): Massachusetts Maritime Academy is hiring 2 intern positions to work on defense or offense. This is an entry level 10 month position that is designed for someone who is looking to coach as a career. Interns will coach their own position group, recruit an assigned area, and assist in student – athlete retention and development. Candidates with Strength & Conditioning or video related experience will be given first consideration. A bachelor’s degree is required. Compensation will include housing, meal plan (when classes are in session) & a $500.00 per month stipend for this off-season (Feb-May). Start date is February 1st. Green Bay Blizzard (Indoor): Diamond Weaver has joined the staff as defensive backs coach / pro personnel assistant with the Blizzard organization.

Kennesaw State (FCS - GA): Jay Bailey, who joined the staff in 2013 as director of football operations, has been promoted to assistant athletics director for football and equipment operations.

Richmond (FCS): Marc Bacote, who previously coached the safeties at Hampton (FCS), will be the new wide receivers coach.

Feather River College (JC - CA): Feather River College is looking for 2 defensive coaches, DL and LB. Duties may include assisting in football operations, recruiting, academic monitoring, practice organization, video editing, and other related activities. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or the equivalent is required for 10-month coaching stipend of $9,500. Teaching opportunities are also available dependent on qualifications.
