Hawaii: FAU co-defensive coordinator / safeties coach / special teams coordinator Corey Batoon is the new defensive coordinator at Hawaii.
Austin Thomas: Sources tell FootballScoop many SEC teams have had discussions attempting to attract former LSU GM Austin Thomas. We hear there is a front-runner....
Arkansas: Source tells FootballScoop Steve Caldwell will be part of John Chavis' defensive staff at Arkansas. Caldwell has spent the past four seasons with Bryan Harsin at Boise State as associate head coach / defensive line. Caldwell & Chavis coached together for 10+ seasons at Tennessee.
Louisiana-Lafayette: Mark Hocke, who spent this past season at Texas A&M, has been hired to serve as the head strength and conditioning coach / associate head coach on Billy Napier's staff. Hocke has past experience at Alabama, Georgia, and Florida State as well.
Tampa Bay Bucs: Dirk Koetter will return to lead the Bucs in 2018, according to a report from the Tampa Bay Times. Koetter is 13-18 overall leading the team, including a 4-11 mark this season, which includes two five-game losing streaks.
Mississippi State: Source tells FootballScoop tackles / tight ends coach DJ Looney is not expected to be retained at Mississippi State. Looney spent the 2016 season on Kirby Smart's staff at Georgia before returning to his alma mater for the 2017 season. Looney previously coached offensive line at Central Arkansas and East Mississippi CC.
Arizona State: San Diego State corners coach Tony White has been offered the defensive backs job at Arizona State sources tell FootballScoop; however we understand White remains a candidate for promotion at SDSU. A decision is expected in the next few days we are told. White played at UCLA (97-2000) and has coached at SDSU since the 2009 season.

Midland (NAIA - NE): Per source, Northwest Missouri State (D-II) graduate assistant Scott Reilly is joining the staff as offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator.
Boise State: Defensive line coach Steve Caldwell is leaving the staff after four seasons for an opportunity closer to home, per multiple reports.
Washington Redskins: Ian Rapoport tweets that head coach Jay Gruden is not on the hot seat and that there are "no plans for major changes in Washington." Gruden has the Redskins sitting at 7-8 heading into the season finale. with finishes of 4-12 (2014), 9-7 (2015), and 8-7 (2016) under his belt leading the organization with one post season appearance (2015).
Northern Illinois: Running backs coach Jordan Lynch is leaving the staff to become the head coach at Mount Carmel HS (IL), per a report from Josh Tolentino. Lynch, and alum of Mount Carmel, will take over for legendary head coach Frank Lenti, who won over 150 games and captured 11 state titles.
SUNY Cortland (D-III - NY): SUNY Cortland seeks applicants for a Defensive Line coach. Responsibilities include coaching the Defensive Line, running position meetings, assisting with special teams, assisting with game planning, film breakdown and data entry (HUDL), covering your own recruiting area, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. The ideal candidate would have a minimum 1 year coaching experience or collegiate playing experience.This is an entry level position with commensurate salary. East Tennessee State: Head coach Randy Sanders will make $225,000 in base salary on a 4-year contract. His bonus structure runs from $5,000 for making the FCS playoffs to $37,500 for winning a national championship.
Colby College (D-III - ME): As we reported earlier this morning, former Maine (FCS) head coach Jack Cosgrove has now been formally announced as the new head coach of the program.

New York Jets: The Jets have extended the contracts of head coach Todd Bowles and GM Mike Maccagnan. Bowles went 10-6 in his first season back in 2015, followed by a 5-11 mark in 2016, and the Jets are currently 5-10 heading into the final game of this season. Ian Rapoport tweets that each of the extension are for two years, taking them both through 2020.

Detroit Lions: Asked today if he's been told if he will return to lead the Lions in 2018, Jim Caldwell said, “If I was, I wouldn’t discuss it with you or anything of that nature," and then adding, "depends on what the Lord has planned for me, how about that," according to ESPN.
Mississippi Valley State (FCS): Mississippi Valley State University is seeking applications for the position of Offensive Coordinator, preferably a quarterbacks coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the head coach. The offensive coordinator position is fully responsible for the implementation of the team’s offense. The offensive coordinator is responsible for play calling, managing the offensive staff, and setting offensive practice priorities. The offensive coordinator is responsible alongside the recruiting coordinator in identifying offensive recruiting priorities and will be responsible for recruiting a geographic area, as assigned by the head coach and recruiting coordinator. Candidates will be expected to adhere to all guidelines and regulations set forth by the South Western Athletic Conference, the SWAC, and Mississippi Valley State University. Minimum Qualifications : At least three years of coaching in the sport of football at the collegiate level required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to student-athlete welfare, academic success, University/NCAA rules. San Diego State: Source tells FootballScoop Rocky Long plans to promote Doug Deakin to special teams coordinator. Deakin, a former Aztec player, currently serves as assistant director of football operations at SDSU. He previously served as a grad assistant working primarily with the safeties.
Colby (D-III - ME): Sources tell FootballScoop that Colby is hiring former University of Maine (FCS) head coach Jack Cosgrove to take over the head coaching job. Cosgrove led the Maine program for 23 years before stepping down after the 2015 season to transition into a senior associate director of athletics role the past two seasons.
UTSA: UTSA has announced the hiring of Houston Baptist defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Charlie Camp as linebackers coach and the promotion of graduate assistant Deron Wilson to cornerbacks coach. Wilson is head coach Frank Wilson's nephew. Both, like Frank Wilson, are natives of New Orleans. In announcing the hire, Frank Wilson said of Camp, "He's a talented recruiter and will add a lot of positive energy within our organization."
Kentucky: Mark Stoops shared with Kentucky Sports Radio that he's looking to fill his 10th assistant position by hiring former Ravens safety Ed Reed. Reed, who Stoops coached while an assistant at Miami, has some coaching experience working with the defensive backs with the Buffalo Bills as part of Rex Ryan's staff in 2016.
