Former NFL quarterback and quarterbacks coach Chris Miller will be the offensive coordinator for XFL Houston, according to a report from Mike Miller of XFL Board.
An Oregon product, Miller played for the Atlanta Falcons from 1987-93, the final three years overlapping with then-Falcons offensive coordinator June Jones, now the head coach of XFL Houston. His first year with Jones, the 1991 season, coincided with Miller's only Pro Bowl appearance.
After Atlanta, Miller remained in the NFL for another six years: five with the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams and one with the Denver Broncos.
After leaving the NFL, Miller returned to his native Oregon as the head coach at South Eugene High School. He returned to the NFL as the Arizona Cardinals' quarterbacks coach from 2009-12, then returned to Oregon as a high school coach.
