Please join us in praying for the family and friends of Derrick "Mutt" Alphonso DeGraffenreid II, who lost his battle with various health issues at 60 years old on Saturday. Mutt coached at various NC high schools including Cherokee HS and Western North Carolina HS.
Clinton (MO): Chris Smoot resigned after five years as head coach at Clinton High School. He will remain on faculty as a teacher and assistant wrestling and track coach.
Carlisle (OH): Sources tell us head coach Bill Jewel has stepped down.
Apalachee (GA): Shane Davis has stepped down after 10 seasons as head coach.
Shelby County (KY): Offensive coordinator and strength coach Cliff Dawson resigned today after four years with the program, per source.
Eastside (SC): Jeff Thomason has resigned from the head coaching position.
South Aiken (SC): Per source, head coach Jeremy West has resigned.
Volunteer (TN): Scott Rider has stepped down after seven seasons as head coach.
Dixie Hollins (FL): Shannon Brooks has stepped down after three seasons as head coach.
Manitowoc Lutheran (WI): After 35 years with the program, 11 as either head coach or co-head coach, Jim Carolfi is stepping down.
Massillon (OH): Head coachJason Hall and Massillon HS have mutually agreed to part ways, per Chris Easterling of The Independent.
Halifax Academy (Daytona Beach, FL): Halifax Academy is looking to hire an offensive coordinator in the area. Interested candidates can contact coach Brown at 386-233-5724.
Granite Hills (CA): Granite Hills HS is seeking California credentialed teachers to join our teaching & coaching staff. Social Studies position will open for the Fall 2015, in addition there may be other core positions (Math, Science and English) opening. We are seeking to add teachers to our coaching staff.
