Frank Giufre--Creating Pin and Pull Tags to Block Problematic Fronts:Because of the increasing presence of Bear fronts, the pin and pull concept has become a mainstay in several offensive play menus. What used to be a complement to inside and outside zone has now taken shape as a base play. At Northwestern its 50-60 percent of the run menu and at UCONN its accounted for over 20 percent of the Huskies’ run menu this season, which averaged over 199 yards per game. It gives offenses a chance to get on the perimeter quickly with bigger bodied offensive tackles. Armijo (Fairfield, CA): Armijo HS is a D3 competitive high school in the Monticello Empire League. We have multiple Varsity assistant coaching positions open for the 2019 season with focus on DB's, LB's, and every offensive position. We're also looking for a JV head football coach and JV assistant coaches for all positions. There are possible stipends at both levels, and currently three teaching positions open in Social Science (full time), Math (full time), and Sports Medicine (part time), with many more teaching positions opening at the end of the school year in all subjects. We're looking for coaches who are student athlete driven, motivated, and understand the time and effort required for growing and maintaining a successful football program. Candidates will be expected to attend off-season conditioning, spring/summer football, coaches meetings, and practices. We're looking for coaches with high school and/or college level experience.
