The second FBS game of the 2019 season may wind up being the very best game of the entire year.
That's a high bar to clear, sure, but it's hard to beat a 45-38 game that saw 1,134 yards of total offense, more turnovers (eight) than punts (six), a quarterback who threw for 378 yards and four touchdowns getting pulled for poor performance and, oh yeah, the game end on a 30-yard scramble that needed to go 31 yards to force overtime.
Trailing by seven with 10 seconds to go and the ball on Hawaii's 31-yard line, Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate accepted the snap, scanned the field and took off. He broke one tackle, outran another and dashed toward the end zone until he was tackled at the 1-yard line.

As you can see in this clip, Hawaii defensive tackle Manly Williams was behind Tate when he passed the line of scrimmage but chased him all the way down to help seal the win.
The best part of Williams' effort, obviously, was that it allowed his team to win the game. The second best part is that it allowed his head coach to send this tweet.
