Larry Gilmer is the coach other coaches look up to, though many don't know him by name.
A career middle school coach, Gilmer has made his life's work encouraging his players, telling him he loves them, and winning football games, in that order. For its latest ad campaign targeting coaches, Dove gathered a number of Gilmer's former players for an impromptu session telling him how much they love him.
It's some good stuff.
"I don't know what God has in store for me. I don't know. But I'm pretty sure that when I face Him, he's not going to ask me, 'How many football games did you win, Larry Gilmer?' He's going to say, 'How many lives did you change?'"
