Today's the day each of the four College Football Playoff participants arrives at their respective semifinals, and Georgia already has one leg up. The Delta 747 carrying the Bulldogs from Atlanta to Southern California was used by Alabama ahead of its 2015 national championship and by Clemson ahead of the Tigers' national championship last season.
According to the Gwinnett Daily Post, the bird was brought out of retirement specifically to ferry Georgia across the country.
