There are two weeks remaining ahead of Championship Saturday. One conference championship game is already set, and others have one side of the stadium reserved.
The others, though, remain tangled in a web of possibilities and tiebreakers. Consider this your primer to see where each of the 10 FBS conference championship races stand.
AMERICAN
East Division
Central Florida (6-0) can clinch the division with a win over Temple and a South Florida (5-1) loss to Tulsa on Thursday. If the Bulls win Thursday, the division will be decided in the War on I-4 in Tampa on Black Friday.
West Division
Memphis (5-1) can win the division by beating SMU or East Carolina in their final two games. If the Tigers lose out, Houston (4-2) and Navy (4-3) can both win the division by winning out; the Cougars and Midshipmen meet Black Friday in Houston.
ACC
Atlantic Division
Clemson (7-1) has won the Atlantic for the third straight year and fifth year overall.
Coastal Division
Miami (6-0) has won the Coastal for the first time in the division's 13-year existence.
BIG 12
Oklahoma (6-1) can clinch a spot in the title game with a victory over Kansas or West Virginia, or a loss by TCU, Oklahoma State or West Virginia. TCU (5-2) controls its own destiny for a rematch with the Sooners. Oklahoma State (5-2) would need TCU to lose to Texas Tech or Baylor, and West Virginia (5-2) would need both TCU and Oklahoma State to lose. Texas (4-3) and Iowa State (4-3) remain tangentially alive.
BIG TEN
East Division
Ohio State (6-1) can win the division with a win over Illinois or Michigan or losses by Michigan State (5-2), Penn State (5-2) and Michigan (5-2). Should the Buckeyes lose out, Michigan State holds the tiebreaker over Penn State and Michigan, and Penn State holds the tiebreaker over Michigan.
West Division
Wisconsin (7-0) has clinched a spot in the Big Ten Championship for the second straight year and the fifth time in the game's 7-year history.
CONFERENCE USA
East Division
Florida Atlantic (6-0) can clinch its first East title with a win over Florida International (4-2) on Saturday. If FIU wins, they can clinch the title with a win over Western Kentucky on Black Friday and an FAU loss to at Charlotte the following Saturday.
West Division
North Texas (6-1) has clinched its first trip to the C-USA Championship.
MAC
East Division
Ohio (5-1) can clinch the division with a win over Akron (4-2) on Tuesday. If Akron wins Tuesday, the Zips will win the division with a win over Kent State next Tuesday and an Ohio loss to Buffalo on Black Friday.
West Division
Toledo (5-1) control and Western Michigan (4-2 with games against Toledo and NIU remaining) control their own destiny. Northern Illinois (5-1) will win the division with two wins and a Toledo loss. Central Michigan (4-2) remains alive but needs help.
MOUNTAIN WEST
Mountain Division
Boise State (6-0) will win the division with one more win or a Wyoming (5-1) loss. The Cowboys would need wins over Fresno State and San Jose State and Boise State losses to Air Force and Fresno State.
West Division
Fresno State (5-1) clinches the division with a win over Wyoming or Boise State. San Diego State (4-2) clinches if Fresno State loses out and the Aztecs win out. UNLV (3-3) owns the tiebreaker over Fresno State, but would need serious help to force that tie.
Pac-12
North Division
Stanford (6-2), Washington State (6-2) and Washington (5-2) are tied in the loss column. Stanford owns the tiebreaker over Washington but not Washington State. The Huskies and Cougars will meet in the Apple Cup on Black Friday in Seattle.
South Division
USC (7-1) has clinched its second South championship.
SEC
East Division
Georgia (6-1) has clinched its first East title since 2012 and sixth overall.
West Division
Alabama (7-0) and Auburn (6-1) will decide the division in the Iron Bowl on Nov. 25 in Auburn.
Sun Belt
The Sun Belt is the last FBS league to add a championship game, and it won't come a moment too soon. Appalachian State (5-1), Georgia State (5-1), Troy (5-1), Arkansas State (4-1) and Louisiana-Lafayette (3-2) all remain in contention to split the title.
