Washington Commanders announce a number of hires, promotions (Washington Commanders Coaching Staff)

The Washington Commanders on Tuesday announced a number of hires and promotions to their personnel and coaching staffs.

With the moves, former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Doug Williams is now a senior advisor to GM Adam Peters, Chris White is director of pro scouting, Rob Rogers is vice president of football administration, Sean DeBarbieri is vice president of football communications, and senior director of team support and advancement, among other moves. 

Former Northwestern DFO Cody Cejda has joined the staff as director of process innovation. Cejda was on staff at Northwestern 12 years, serving as director of football operations much of his tenure. He served as special assistant to the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers in '201 and '22. This past year he served as director of strategy at Teamworks. 

The club will play its first season under new head coach Dan Quinn and new general manager Peters this fall.
