Toledo was said to get $1.2 million to play Mississippi State, but that's apparently just part of the story

The Rockets were originally scheduled to play Maryland this season, but the Terps paid them $575,000 to move the game to 2029.
Mississippi State is paying Toledo $1.2 million.
