Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and being able to be admitted to our MBA program is required. Playing or coaching experience is preferred. Idaho State (FCS): Idaho State University has an immediate opening for a quality control coach working with Special Teams. This position reports to the Head Football Coach and provides support to the Special Teams Coordinator. The primary responsibilities will be; to provide analysis and data to the Special Teams Coordinator regarding opponents and self-evaluations, assist the coaching staff in creating a game plan and strategy for each opponent, assist coaching staff with identification of prospective student-athletes and day to day recruiting, independently input and edit video from each practice and game into XOS video system. Sit in on teams’ meetings, synthesize information, and assist with the flow of practice and meetings. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Head Football Coach and are expected to include assisting with on-campus recruiting and recruiting functions, summer camps and high school coach’s clinics. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within demanding timeframes. Must be proficient in the use of basic computer applications. Experience playing and coaching at the college level is preferred. Compensation includes $5000 stipend (5 months) and some meals. Appalachian State: Justin Fields (not the Bears quarterback) has joined the staff as a defensive GA. Fields was an assistant at Fort Lewis College (D-II - CO) last season and coached previously at UNC-Pembroke.

Local applicants are encouraged to apply. This is an entry level position designed for gaining direct work experience at the FCS Level. Responsibilities include assisting the offensive line coach with film breakdown and practice. Previous coaches in this post have moved on to full time coaching positions and an FBS graduate assistant position.
