Big 12: Following the NCAA's move to eliminate the year-in-residence rule, the Big 12 has reportedly eliminated its own rule requiring intra-conference transfers to sit. What that means for Lincoln Riley, Gary Patterson and Chad Morris.

Tennessee State (FCS): Jeff Fisher is helping Eddie George fill out his new TSU staff, but it was Fisher's advice that inspired George to take the job in the first place.

Mississippi State: Sources tell FootballScoop Matt Dudek will be the new director of recruiting for Mike Leach's staff at Mississippi State.

Recruiting Dead Period: Nicole Auerbach

The NCAA's Division I Council has approved a return to normal recruiting as of June 1, ending the dead period, source tells @TheAthletic, but this isn't officially official until end of Thursday's meeting.

Minnesota Vikings: The team has announced that co-defensive coordinator / defensive line coach Andrew Patterson has been promoted to assistant head coach, Robert Steeples has joined the team as an assistant special teams coach, and Marquis Johnson will be an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Steeples is a great story and a fast-rising coach.

SAGU (NAIA - TX): SAGU is looking for a graduate assistant working with defensive backs or linebackers. Must have experience playing or coaching either position previously. 75% of tuition is payed for plus the potential for a stipend depending on qualifications. Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings have hired a former player who won a 2019 state championship as a high school head coach.

Mayville State (NAIA - ND): MayvilleState University is looking to hire an immediate full-time Athletic Director. The position is fully benefited, including employer paid health insurance. More information and application can be found via this link.

Central Michigan: Jim McElwain and his staff have a shiny new $32.5 million facility to help sell recruits.

Charleston (D-II - WV): The University of Charleston, located in Charleston, WV is looking for a 2021 Week 1 opponent. This can also be an opportunity for a home and home game, or a Thursday night game. Please e-mail HC Pat Kirkland at patkirkland@ucwv.edu.

Saint Anselm (D-II - MA): Saint Anselm College is looking for a Week 2 opponent in 2021 (9-11-2021). We would be looking for a Division II opponent. Also we are looking for a Week 1 opponent in 2022. Interested programs can email cbraine@anselm.edu.

Towson (FCS - MD): Head coach Rob Ambrose has promoted wide receivers coach Justin Harper to passing game coordinator and quality control coach Drew Rodriguez to quarterbacks coach.

Transfers: At long last, the NCAA could finally approve a new transfer rule this week.

Tennessee State (FCS): Per source, former New Mexico and Georgia State DFO Dusty Bennett will be Chief of Staff under new head coach Eddie George.

North Greenville (D-II - SC): Defensive backs coach / recruiting coordinator Maurice Duncan has been named defensive coordinator and defensive line coach Brian Volz has added the title of run game coordinator. Also, defensive graduate assistant Jireh Wilson has been promoted to a full-time position and will coach the outside linebackers.

"Go recruit more 5-stars": An opposing coach had a strong message for Deion Sanders and Jackson State after beating them.

Grinnell (D-III - IA): Grinnell College, located in central Iowa, has an opening for an assistant coach working with WRs. This is a part-time, 10-month position paying $15,000 a year with NO benefits slated to start on June 1. Duties include assisting the head coach in planning and conducting training sessions, making recruiting calls, recruiting travel, breaking down film and preparing scouting reports. NFL: How the pandemic may have changed the NFL offseason program forever.

King’s College (D-III - PA): King's College is looking for a Restricted Earnings Defensive Position Coach. The responsibilities include coaching a Defensive position group (LB), recruiting, and other duties assigned by the HC. Ability to use Hudl, Vizio, and Microsoft Office. This a 10-month position starting Aug 1st. Playing experience and/or coaching Linebackers is preferred. There is a $9000 stipend, and some meals. Housing is Not provided, but can assist w/ finding housing. There are job possibilities within the Athletic department.
