This role works alongside the Chief of Staff and Administrative Assistant to coordinate all technology operations of Furman Football. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to 1. Coordinate the recording of all practices and games from multiple camera angles. 2. Organize and Import all practice and game footage to Catapult Thunder Football for the coaching staff and student-athletes to review while establishing and organizing film. 3. Design and edit motion and still graphics to create a dynamic branded look for use in recruiting, motivational content, and social media. Produce content that will engage the audience and promote the Furman Football brand. 4. Film and/or photograph team events, recruiting functions and other football related activities as needed for creative content. 5. Supervise and manage all the student video assistants; responsible for recruiting, hiring, and assigning daily responsibilities within video operations. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Breaking down and analyzing opponents. Developing and maintaining special teams self scout analysis. Organizing and maintaining an archived video/resource library of past games, studies, drill tapes and self-scouts. Building meeting presentations, practice organization and other duties assigned by the Head Coach/Special Teams Coordinator. Experience with DVSport, Microsoft Visio, and PowerPoint is essential to this position. Gallaudet (D-III – Washington, DC): Gallaudet University is accepting applications for a Defensive Football Intern. Gallaudet University is the premier institute of higher learning for the Deaf and hard of hearing. This position will begin in August 2023 and run through December 2023. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Defensive Coordinator with implementing game plans, coaching of special teams and a defensive position (depending on applicant's ability to communicate), film analysis, academic support, and attending team and coaching staff meetings. Job requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, playing experience at the collegiate level, and knowledge of American SignLanguage (ASL) is preferred. If the successful candidate has no prior knowledge with ASL, it will be expected that the intern is willing to learn. The successful applicant will be provided with a dorm room and a meal plan.
