Chicago: The Bears are hiring former Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown as passing game coordinator multiple outlets are reporting. 

Jim Harbaugh: Here's the contract the Chargers reportedly gave Jim to leave Michigan

Carolina Panthers: The team has parted ways with passing game coordinator Parks Frazier, hired Bernie Parmalee as running backs coach Rob Moore as receivers coach and Joe Gilbert as offensive line coach. Harold Goodwin will serve as assistant head coach / run game coordinator. 

Western Michigan: We shared last week that Lance Taylor was working to make Robert Bala his new defensive coordinator. ESPN's Pete Thamel has shared this evening that the ink is now dry, deal is in finalized. 

Houston Texans: Offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, who interviewed for a number of head coaching openings over the last several weeks, has agreed to a new deal to keep him in Houston that includes a "significant raise," per Albert Breer. Further, quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson is also planning to remain with the Texans after interviewing with multiple teams for their offensive coordinator position Adam Schefter has shared.

Carolina Panthers: Bucs assistant head coach / run game coordinator Harold Goodwin is joining Dave Canales staff in the same capacity and will work with the offensive line, per multiple reports.

Oregon State: Trent Bray is adding Jamie Christian to the staff as special teams coordinator. Christian coordinated special teams at New Mexico the past two seasons as part of Danny Gonzales' staff.

New Hampshire (FCS): Per source, Saint Francis (FCS - PA) offensive line coach Ryan Wilson is taking the offensive line job.

Tennessee: Vols chancellor insists "the NCAA is failing" as they face NCAA investigation for NIL violations in landscape college coaches everywhere describe as "The Wild West."

New Hampshire (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop, Saint Francis (FCS- PA) offensive line coach Ryan Wilson has accepted the same role at The University of New Hampshire.

Jackson State (FCS - MS): Sources tell FootballScoop Vincent Marshall is leaving Norfolk State, headed to Jackson State.

Auburn: TJ Randall is joining the staff as assistant director of player personnel and scouting. Randall was at Houston last season as assistant director of scouting and also spent four seasons at Liberty. 

Taylor (NAIA - IN): Taylor University currently has (2) assistant football coach openings. All positions considered – Looking for best fit. These positions come with a 20k salary, but no benefits are included. Duties include coaching a position group, recruiting, and other duties as assigned. New England Patriots: Former Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy is in New England today interviewing for the offensive coordinator job on Jerod Mayo's staff, per Albert Breer, who adds that Getsy has a second interview for the Saints play caller opportunity set for tomorrow.

LA Rams: Sean McVay is bringing in former Chargers head coach Brandon Staley tomorrow to interview for the defensive coordinator job, Ian Rapoport shares. Staley was McVay's defensive coordinator before leaving for the Chargers opportunity.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Lions passing game coordinator Tanner Engstrand will interview for the offensive coordinator job, Adam Schefter shares. Last week, Engstrand interviewed for the Patriots offensive coordinator opening as well.

Fresno State: Fresno State has an offensive graduate position available. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum 2.75 GPA and previous college coaching and/or playing experience at the wide receiver position. Dickinson (D-III - PA): Dickinson College is seeking candidates for a Wide Receivers Coach. This is an intern position that includes a $7,800 stipend plus housing and a full meal plan. Candidate will be responsible for managing their own position group and their own recruiting territory, as well as any other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Preferred candidate will have experience coaching and/or playing at the college level. Interested candidates should email resume and references to Scott Knapp at knappsc@dickinson.edu.

WPI (D-III - MA): WPI is looking to hire an intern on the offensive side of the ball. This position requires a bachelor’s degree. The position will include a monthly stipend plus free housing. Preference given to someone who can be here this spring. The successful applicant will coach their own position (most likely offensive skill position), run positional meetings, and have their own recruiting area to be determined by best fit. WPI is one of the top academic universities in the US and the successful applicant will serve as a role model for students in and out of competition as well as maintain and support a culture within the program that fosters continual development of student-athletes. Tennessee Titans: Sources tell FootballScoop inside linebackers coach Bobby King and the Titans are parting ways. King coached inside backers the past two seasons in Tennessee and inside backers and defensive line the previous five seasons for the Houston Texans.

Columbia (FCS - NY): Sarah Parady has been announced as director of on-campus recruiting and social media. She previously served as an administrative coordinator at Harvard (FCS - MA).

Advice for young coaches: Dan Lanning, "nobody is going to hire you because of what you know".

Walsh (Sprint - OH): Walsh University Sprint Football is currently accepting applications for two Graduate Assistant football coaches on Offense/Defense for the 2024 season. We are seeking candidates who are looking to gain experience working within a College football program. Primary duties will include assisting the offensive/Defensive Coordinator and working with a defensive/offensive position group, opponent film breakdown, tracking recruiting activity, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Candidates with strong communication and computer skills are preferred. Local candidates Highly recommend. Candidates will get a stipend and graduate school tuition and some meals. Puget Sound (D-III - WA): Puget Sound is accepting applications for an Offensive Skill part-time coach. Experience in Air Raid or Run and Shoot is preferred. The successful candidates will be heavily involved in game planning and film work (HUDL). The position is a primarily Fall only coaching position with limited recruiting responsibilities. Yale (FCS): North Central (D-III - IL) outside linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Daniel Packard has accepted a defensive quality control position on the Yale staff, per source.

Central Washington (D-II): Per source, Patrick Belony has accepted the defensive line job. Belony spent last season as a graduate assistant at Washington State and previously spent two seasons at Fresno State.

Arizona: Sources tell FootballScoop rising personnel star Gaizka Crowley is joining Brent Brennan's staff.

Detroit Lions: Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson has informed the Seahawks and Commanders that he's decided to stay in Detroit. Two sides to this story; but it is an interesting one.

Buffalo Bills: Linebackers coach Bobby Babich is being promoted to defensive coordinator, per NFL Network. Babich has been part of the Bills staff since 2017. Update >> The team has announced the move.

Carolina Panthers: Bucs receivers coach Brad Idzik is expected to be the new offensive coordinator, per Jeremy Fowler. Idzik is just 32 years old.

Tiffin (D-II - OH): James Daniels (DC / DBs) and Zane Cox (head strength coach) have joined the new Tiffin staff of Brett Ekkens. Daniels spent last season coaching the corners at Lehigh (FCS - PA) and Cox was an associate director of strength and conditioning at ULM.

Miami Dolphins: On Friday, the Dolphins plan to interview Texans linebackers coach Chris Kiffin for their defensive coordinator job, Tom Pelissero shares.

Tennessee Titans: Passing game analyst Pat O'Hara's contract is up and isn't being renewed with Brian Callahan taking the reigns of the Titans, Ian Rapoport shares. Before moving to the analyst role, O'Hara spent five seasons coaching the team's quarterbacks.

Carolina Panthers: Per Ian Rapoport, Raiders assistant offensive line coach Cameron Clemmons has fielded a request to interview for the offensive line job in Carolina.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Tom Pelissero shares that Mike Tomlin is expected to bring in former Falcons head coach Arthur Smith as the team's new offensive coordinator.

Avila (NAIA - MO): Avila University is accepting resumes for a Defensive Graduate Assistant. Responsibilities will include coaching or assisting with a position group on defense, film breakdown, practice organization, recruiting area, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and the Defensive Coordinator. Position includes Graduate School, Small Stipend, Meal Plan, and Possible Housing. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate school program. Denver Broncos: Jeff Duncan shares that former Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael is expected to join the Broncos staff, reuniting with Sean Payton.

Valdosta State (D-II - GA): Valdosta State University is taking applications for the position of Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach. Green Bay Packers: Ravens inside linebackers coach Zach Orr received a request to interview for the defensive coordinator job, Tom Pelissero shares.

Limestone (D-II - SC): Limestone University has an opening for an Offensive Graduate Assistant. Candidate will work with the Offensive Line, have a recruiting area, and be responsible for other duties assigned by head coach. Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and being able to be admitted to our MBA or MS Education program is required. Playing or coaching experience is preferred. Roosevelt (D-II - IL): Roosevelt University is seeking applicants for a defensive position coach with a salary in the low 30's. Special Teams Coordinator duties are also possible based on experience. Interested candidates can apply using this link.

Western Carolina (FCS): The Catamounts have announced the hire of Kyle Dickey as the new tight ends coach for the program. Dickey is the former offensive coordinator at Tusculum (D-II - TN).

Chicago Bears: Chris Beatty has been hired as the new receivers coach in The Windy City, Courtney Cronin of ESPN shares.

Allegheny (D-III - PA): Allegheny College has an open date for Week 1 of the 2025 season. Preferably a home game, but willing to discuss all options. Any interest, please contact Head Coach Braden Layer at blayer@allegheny.edu.

St. Johns (D-III - MN): Saint John’s University is looking for a week 1 (September 7th) game for 2024. Must be a home game. Significant guarantee is available. Contact Head Coach Gary Fasching at gfasching@csbsju.edu.

Central Oklahoma (FCS): Per source, Gannon (D-II - PA) co-defensive coordinator Cody Swanson has accepted the defensive coordinator job.

Washington Commanders: Team brass is in Detroit today to meet with Lions coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn about their head coaching opportunity, Adam Schefter shares this morningl.

New Orleans Saints: Tom Pelissero shares that Ravens receivers coach Greg Lewis will interview today for the offensive coordinator opening. Lewis previously won two Super Bowls as a part of Andy Reid's staff with the Chiefs before joining the Ravens prior to this season.

Rhode Island (FCS): Walter "Kuse" Kusmirek, the former offensive line coach at New Haven (D-II) and Wagner (FCS - NY), has joined accepted the offensive line job.

Green Bay Packers: The team has requested to speak with Ravens secondary coach Dennard Wilson for their vacant defensive coordinator job, Ian Rapoport shares. Rap adds that Wilson is also interviewing for the same position with the Titans today, and has had previous discussions with the Rams and Giants.

Albright (D-III - PA): Albright currently has a restricted earnings opening on the defensive side of the ball working with defensive backs. The position Pays is $10,000 over 10 months and includes housing. Graduate School Classes and path way to Master’s Degree is part of Employee Benefits. Must get accepted in Graduate School to pursue this benefit. Graduate school is not a requirement of position, it is just a benefit you have with the positions. Michigan Panthers (UFL): Offensive coordinator Eric Marty, who led the Panthers offense while part of the USFL, will not return for the 2024 season. Marty’s offense ranked as high as second in the USFL during his two seasons with the Panthers.  Marty was part of the AFCA’s inaugural 30 Under 30 Class, now known as 35 Under 35, and previously served as the offensive coordinator at Grambling State (FCS), as well as the head coach of Reedley College (JC - CA) where he went 20-2 in his final 2 seasons and was named back-to-back Golden Coast Conference Coach of the Year.

UTEP: Per source, UVA-Wise (D-II) running backs coach Nate Mullen has been hired on Scotty Walden’s inaugural staff at UTEP as an offensive quality control coach where he will work with the WRs. Mullen previously served as a graduate assistant on the same staff as Walden at Southern Miss a few seasons ago.

Auburn: Sources confirm DJ Durkin is headed to Auburn to serve as defensive coordinator. ESPN's Chris Low first shared the news. 

Doane (NAIA - NE): Doane University has an immediate opening for a full-time Offensive Line Coaching Position. This position comes with full benefits. Candidates should have experience coaching or playing the Offensive Line position. Candidates must be experienced in recruiting, Hudl, visio, and NAIA rules. No calls at this time.
