Florida State: Matt Murschel shares that Gus Malzah's deal in Tallahassee is for 3-years and worth $6 million.

Georgetown College (NAIA - KY): Sources tell FootballScoop head coach Chris Oliver is planning to step full-time in the AD role and promote defensive coordinator John Perin to head coach

UCF: Scott Frost's first hire as UCF's new head coach is the most important player from his last run as UCF head coach.

Wisconsin: The Badgers have now officially announced the addition of Jeff Grimes as their new offensive coordinator.

Kansas: Matt Lubick has been formally announced as co-offensive coordinator / tight ends coach after spending last season at Nevada as offensive coordinator.

St. Scholastica (D-III - MN): St. Scholastica is looking to hire a full-time defensive coordinator. Salary range is between $39k and $50k. Required: Bachelor’s Degree; AND two (2) years of professional coaching experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. UCLA: Pete Thamel shares that the Bruins are targeting Jethro Franklin as the program's new defensive line coach. Franklin, currently the defensive line coach / run game coordinator at Fresno State, is expected to coach in the team's bowl game, the report adds.

Florida State: As expected, Herb Hand has now been formally announced as the offensive line coach for the Seminoles.

Colorado State: Jay Norvell blasts the cut independent portal agents are taking from kids, calling it "criminal" compared to the 3% NFLPA agents charge.

UCLA: Steve Berkowitz shares newly obtained contract for athletic director Martin Jarmon awards him $1.55 million in basic annual play, plus a $511,500 signing bonus for the year through July 2025.

North Carolina: While there's conflicting reports on Bill Belichick and UNC circulating today, NFL insider Jonathan Jones shares that conversations between the two parties have continued into today and "there's hope within the school a decision will come soon," adding "it continues to appear that the ball is in Belichick's court."

Syracuse: Head coach Fran Brown believes there's a right and wrong way for his players to enter the transfer portal, and those that choose the wrong way are "snakes."

Purdue: Contract details for new head coach Barry Odom are out.

Florida Atlantic: Former Texas Tech, Western Kentucky and Bowling Green offensive line coach Stephen Hamby has accepted the same position at FAU.

Kansas: Sources confirm that Nevada offensive coordinator Matt Lubick is in the works to return to Kansas as co-offensive coordinator / tight ends coach. The Athletic has shared the same.

North Carolina: NFL coaching veteran Steve Wilks has also interviewed for the head coaching opening, per multiple reports. Wilks, who spent this past season as a special advisor with the Charlotte 49ers, has multiple stops with the Carolina Panthers, including as defensive coordinator and spent one season as the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.

Western Illinois (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop that the Leathernecks are making a coordinator change after a 4-8 season.

McNeese State (FCS - LA): Matt Viator has announced that he will retain Michael Smith (WRs), Thomas Reese (RBs) and Jordan Lee (DBs).

Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NCAA – DII): Northwestern is seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant opening. The position will work on the defensive side of the ball. You would be responsible for running your own meeting room, drills, film cut ups, and game planning. Duties will also include recruiting a specific area, academic monitoring, some equipment and laundry duties. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach, defensive coordinator or the director of athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication skills and ability to recruit high academic and quality student-athletes is a must. Experience with Hudl digital editing system is a must. Positions are contingent upon admittance into Northwestern Oklahoma State University Graduate School (2.75 GPA).
