Valparaiso (FCS - IN): South Dakota (FCS) tight ends coach Andrew Prevost has joined the staff as offensive line coach, and former Northwood (D-II - MI) receivers coach Damien Ross is the new receivers coach. Also, Jackson Smith has returned to the staff as an assistant coach after previously working with the defensive tackles in 2020-21 and Trevor McConnell and Owen Chandler are handling quality control duties.
South Alabama: Adam Mann has joined the program as an offensive graduate assistant working with the offensive line after coaching the offensive line at Huntingdon College (D-III - AL).
St. Norbert (D-III - WI): St. Norbert College, located in the Green Bay suburb of De Pere, seeks a defensive backs coach. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching DB's, but will hire the best overall candidate. This position will be responsible for coaching their own position; running meetings; assisting in game planning, film analysis and breakdown (HUDL), recruiting; and other duties assigned by Head Coach and Def. The assistant coach will work in conjunction with the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator to fulfill the following responsibilities: coaching student athletes, mentoring intern coaches, scouting opponents, recruiting various territories, tracking equipment and developing alumni contacts. Allegheny College (D-III - PA): Dayton (FCS - OH) quarterbacks coach Braden Layer is returning to the Gators as head coach, sources tell FootballScoop.
Purdue: Per source, former Kansas State and Ball State all-conference running back James Gilbert is set to become an offensive graduate assistant for the Boilermakers. Gilbert had previous coaching stops at Marian University and Central Oklahoma.
