New York Jets: The team has completed their head coaching interview with Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik. He marks the 12th guy to interview for the job.
South Dakota (FCS): After the most successful season in school history, Bob Nielson is stepping down "with plans to retire as a collegiate coach," the school has shared. The school has shared defensive coordinator Travis Johansen has been promoted to head coach. Johansen has been the program's defensive play caller at USD since 2019.
New Hampshire (FCS): The program has announced the following promotions; Ryan Wilson (co-OC), Charles Watkins (offensive pass game coordinator), Tommy Herion (QBs), Scott James (defensive coordinator / associate head coach) and Randall Jette (recruiting coordinator).
Oklahoma: Curtis Lofton has announced he's stepping away from the program's role as GM, effective February 1st.
Clemson: New defensive coordinator Tom Allen chokes up while recalling the toll coaching has taken on his family and why they moved to Clemson.
Eastern Washington (FCS): Associate head coach Marc Anderson has been named the new offensive coordinator for the Eagles. Anderson is entering his 14th season with the program and coached the tight ends the past three seasons. Also, joining the staff are Montana State-Northern (NAIA) offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Chad Germer as offensive line coach, and Austin York is moving from fullback and captain of last year's team to tight ends coach.
Youngstown State (FCS - OH): The Penguins are adding an assistant from a top Division II program, sources tell FootballScoop.
Western Kentucky: Hawaii defensive graduate assistant Dean Shaffer has accepted a quality control assistant position with the Hilltoppers.
Georgia Southern: Senior analyst Bryan Schor has been elevated to tight ends coach. Schor, who worked alongside the quarterbacks last season, is a former national champion quarterback at James Madison, where he led the Dukes to the 2016 FCS national title.
Davidson (FCS - NC): Luke Jenkins, an offensive analyst at Colgate (FCS - NY), has accepted the running backs job.
Alabama A&M (FCS): Offensive coordinator Duane Taylor will not return to the staff, per source. Taylor had been part of the staff dating back to 2018. He also worked with the receivers.
Wake Forest: Chevis Jackson has now been announced as the new corners coach for the Deacs.
Oklahoma State: As implied by Oklahoma State announcing its new staff yesterday, but FootballScoop can confirm all 10 coaches from the Cowboys' 2024 staff are no longer with the university.
Bethel (NAIA - TN): Bethel University is looking to hire a full-time offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. This is a full-time, 12 month position that comes with full benefits.Applicants will be responsible for leading the offense, coaching a position group, recruiting, film breakdown/editing on HUDL, practice planning, and assisting with other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director. LSU: After three seasons as director of alumni relations / high school outreach, former LSU running back Nick Brosette has been let go according to Jacques Doucet.
Prairie View A&M (FCS - TX): Former Beaumont United (TX) head coach Darrell Colbert Sr. has joined the new staff of Tremaine Jackson as chief of staff, per Cory Hogue.
Texas A&M Kingsville (D-II): Bradley Wilson has been announced as the Javelinas new offensive coordinator. He spent last season as an offensive analyst at Louisiana Tech.
Charlotte: After two seasons at LSU as a senior offensive analyst, Paul Turner has been hired as the wide receivers coach. He follows Todd Fitch, who also left LSU to become the new offensive coordinator at Charlotte.
Arkansas State: Rashad Pittman has been announced as defensive line coach after five seasons in the same role at Northwest Mississippi CC (JC).
Appalachian State: Dowell Loggains has hired Aashon Larkins, who has worked under Jim Harbaugh at Michigan and Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss, as an offensive assistant. Larkins spent the past two seasons in the Ivy League at Dartmouth (FCS - NH).
Minnesota Vikings: Head coach Kevin O'Connell confirmed today that he would prefer to sign a contract extension to remain with the team, and added that he's had a great dialogue with ownership this week.
Southern Miss: Charles Huff is finalizing a deal to land his new special teams coordinator, sources tell FootballScoop.
Northern Iowa (FCS): University of Northern Iowa is currently looking for 3 volunteer assistants (1 offense / 1 defense / 1 special teams). Job responsibilities would include but are not limited to film breakdown, helping with all aspects of recruiting, assisting with game preparation and assisting with a position group. Arizona: FootballScoop can confirm Josh Miller, who had accepted the tight ends job at Southern Miss earlier this month, is heading to Arizona to complete their offensive staff. He'll coach the tight ends in Tucson. Update >> The program has now announced Miller's hire.
Dickinson (D-III - PA): Dickinson College is seeking candidates for a Defensive Line Coach. This is an intern position that includes a $7,800 stipend plus housing and a full meal plan. Candidate will be responsible for managing their own position group and their own recruiting territory, as well as any other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Tennessee Titans: The Titans have completed their in-person GM interview with John Spytek, the assistant GM with the Bucs.

Wisconsin: Lance Taylor and Western Michigan are losing their defensive coordinator to the Badgers, sources tell FootballScoop.
UTEP: Joshua Eargle is joining the staff as the new tight ends coach after stints at FIU and Kansas recently, per ESPN. Eargle previously held the offensive coordinator role at Austin Peay (FCS - TN) from 2015-18 before making the jump to the FBS level.
Seattle Seahawks: The team is doing second in person interviews with Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak on Friday, per Ian Rapoport. Kubiak has also interviewed for the Browns offensive coordinator vacancy.
Washington: Jedd Fisch is making a promotion and a hire in the secondary at Washington, sources share.
Anna Maria (D-III - MA): Anna Maria College (Paxton, MA) is seeking a Defensive Line Coach. Looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking to run their own room. The position responsibilities include coaching your own position group, game planning, film breakdown, practice prep, recruiting, and duties as assigned. This hire will include a stipend of $15,000 for the duration of 10-months, with housing on-campus, and a full meal plan. Looking to review candidates and hire as soon as possible. Kellen Moore: In addition to his Cowboys interview request, Moore will interview for the head coaching job with the Jaguars tomorrow and the Saints on Saturday. Albert Breer notes that if Dallas doesn't get him in during that same window, they'll have to wait until the Eagles playoff run is done.

Minnesota Duluth (D-II): Per source, Temple offensive analyst Austan Davis has accepted the offensive line job. Davis previously coached the running backs at Midwestern State (D-II - TX).
Dallas Cowboys: The team has requested permission to interview Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore for their head coaching job.
Senior Bowl: Mike Kafka (Giants OC) and Bubba Ventrone (Browns STC) will lead coaching staffs at the 2025 Senior Bowl.
St. Norbert (D-III - WI): St. Norbert College (WI) located in the Green Bay suburb of De Pere, is seeking a QB coach to join our staff. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching QB position. Opportunity exists for Passing Game Coordinator. Responsibilities include emphasis on recruiting, coaching the QB position; running meetings; assisting in game planning, film analysis and breakdown (HUDL), ; and other duties assigned by Head Coach and Off Coordinator. Robert Saleh: The former Jets head coach will interview with the Raiders tomorrow and is also expected to meet with the Cowboys over the next few days, per Dianna Russini. Both will be in-person she adds.
App State: Texas is losing special teams analyst Jeff Crosby to App State, where sources tell FootballScoop Crosby is set to become coordinator.
Fresno State: The Bulldogs have added Jordan Gigli to help coach their defensive line under new coach Matt Entz. Gigli previously was on staff at Northern Illinois. Gigli also previously coached at the University of North Dakota. Gigli's D-line this past season was particularly strong for an NIU defense that ranked among the top 10 in college football and helped lead the program's historic upset against Notre Dame in September.
Ross Newton: Former UCF chief of staff / linebackers coach Ross Newton has accepted the head coaching position at Pelham High (AL). Newton is well known throughout the state from his extensive time on staff at Samford and at Auburn as well.
Baylor: Dave Aranda has added Carson Hall from Western Kentucky to coach the outside linebackers for the Bears. Considered a young riser in the coaching ranks, Hall was promoted to running game coordinator this past season at WKU before Aranda plucked him away from the Hilltoppers this week.

Jim Harbaugh: The Chargers head coach shares that he will have a heart procedure to treat an irregular heartbeat and hip replacement surgery this off season.
New York Jets: Jeremy Fowler points out that Thomas Dimitroff, the first known candidate to interview for the GM spot, had his interview one month ago today, fourteen or fifteen others have interviewed since and no known second interviews have taken place.
Missouri Valley (NAIA): Morgan Bequeaith, a defensive assistant / analyst at Northern Iowa (FCS), has accepted the receivers job, and Dalton Wright will serve as player personnel / assistant director of football operations.
Georgia Tech: Per source, the Yellow Jackets are nabbing an Alabama staffer for defensive assistant role, plus adding offensive personnel.
Rockford (D-III - IL): Rockford University is looking to hire a full-time defensive coordinator. This is a full-time, 12 month position that comes with full benefits and has a salary range between $50,000. This position will report directly to the Head Coach. Candidates need to have experience leading their own position group and have a strong computer skill set operating Microsoft office and Google applications so you can be organized and detailed in everything we do. In addition, the willingness to still grow and learn in this profession is a major key. Also, looking for candidates that has winning experiences in the game of football. Previous NCAA D-III recruiting and video coordinator experience is preferred. Must be proficient with the Hudl software in all aspects. Candidates will start to be reviewed immediately.
