Houston: Analyzing the opening in Houston where multiple names with strong Texas ties are expected to be in the mix.
Mississippi State: State is about to announce Jeff Lebby as their new head coach, according to multiple reports. Update: The hire is complete.
Texas A&M: The Aggies are reportedly set to hire Duke's Mike Elko. More details on Elko emerging as the Aggies choice here.
Michigan State: Oregon State head strength coach Mike McDonald will also be among the coaches joining Jonathan Smith in the same role at MSU, per Justin Thind, who adds that former Beavers chief of staff Dan Van De Riet will also follow after two decades in Corvallis.
Baylor: Dave Aranda is reportedly set to take over the defensive play calling, and is making a change at offensive coordinator.

ULM: Terry Bowden will not return at ULM.
Baylor: Multiple outlets are now reporting that Baylor AD Mack Rhoades told them Dave Aranda will return; but staff changes are coming. Stay tuned...
Michigan State: Here's an update on Jonathan Smith's first Spartans staff.
Indiana: The school has announced that they've agreed to a financial settlement with Tom Allen amounting to two payments of $7.75 million ($15.5 million total). Allen's contract had called for a buyout of $20.8 million.
Houston: Tight ends coach Corby Meekins will serve as interim head coach, Joseph Duarte shares.
Pitt: Offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti Jr. will not return after two seasons, Pat Narduzzi has announced.
Michigan State: Oregon State running backs coach Keith Bhonapha is expected to join the Spartans staff as well, Justin Thind shares. Bhonapha previously coached the running backs at Washington and Boise State before the Beavers. Jason Killop adds that director of player personnel Cole Moore, who previously was an assistant director of player personnel at Texas, is also following Smith.
UTEP: Dana Dimel is being let go.
Houston: Dana Holgorsen and Houston are parting ways after a 4-8 season.
