Utah State: Former Utah State quarterback Chuckie Keaton is joining Blake Anderson's staff. Keaton played quarterback for the Aggies from 2011-15 and joins the program after serving as a graduate assistant at Texas Tech the past two seasons. Keaton has also held quality control roles at Utah State and Oregon State prior to being at Texas Tech.
Las Vegas: The Raiders have fired defensive coordinator Paul Guenther. Defensive line coach Rod Marinelli will serve as interim DC for the remainder of the season.
Arkansas State: Defensive line coach Brandon Joiner is being retained as a part of Butch Jones' staff.
Stanford: The program has announced that they will not participate in bowl season. Stanford is 3-2 and has spent the last two weeks on the road due to a ban on contact sports in Santa Clara County. They will once again take their facility on the road to Santa Barbara this week to take on UCLA.
Arkansas State: Butch Jones is bringing a colleague from Alabama to be his offensive coordinator at A-State, sources tell FootballScoop.
Illinois: Linebackers coach Miles Smith, the son of Lovie, will not coach in the Illini's game on Saturday, Joe Wagner tweets.
Auburn: On top of Gus Malzahn's buyout ($21.45 million), Steve Berkowitz shares that if no assistants and no members of the strength staff are retained, they will be owed a combined buyout total of about $8.3 million, subject to duty to mitigate. Defensive coordinator Kevin Steele would be owed a buyout of about $5 million and offensive coordinator Chad Morris would be a due a $900k buyout.
Illinois: Lovie Smith will be paid $2.3 million as part of his buyout. Athletic director Josh Whitman notes that the school will not use a search firm to find the program's next head coach.

Art Briles: Another program is reportedly interested in possibly bringing Art Briles back to college football.

Kentucky: According to Matt Jones of KSR, LA Rams assistant quarterbacks coach Liam Coen is among the candidates for the vacant offensive coordinator role on Mark Stoops' staff. Coen joined the Rams in 2018 and spent two seasons as the assistant wide receivers coach before moving to his current role.
Virginia: The program has decided to not play in a bowl game. The Cavaliers become the 3rd ACC school, joining Pitt and Boston College, to make that decision.
Arkansas State: Butch Jones is adding Jon Shalala to the Red Wolves staff, Dan Harralson of Vols Wire reports. Shalala is a former graduate assistant under Jones at Tennessee and he spent the past two seasons at Mississippi State in a defensive quality control role.
Illinois: Sources tell FootballScoop that Lovie Smith will not return at Illinois.
Mountain West: San Jose State will "host" the Mountain West championship against Boise State in Las Vegas on Saturday. The game will kick at 4:15 p.m. ET and air on Fox.
Houston Texans: Adam Schefter tweets that Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer has received a strong recommendation for the head coaching job from Jed Hughes, who was brought in to assist with the search. Schefter adds that "many believe" Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is a strong candidate as well.
Dallas Cowboys: First year head coach Mike McCarthy is safe reports Ian Rapoport; but he tweets "changes could come" on the defensive side of the staff.
