PJ Fleck: After being widely mentioned as a candidate for the UCLA opening, Fleck took to social media today to share his commitment to return to Minnesota in 2024.

LA Chargers: After blocking him from interviewing elsewhere, it comes as no surprise that the Chargers are retaining special teams coordinator Ryan Ficken, per Tom Pelissero. His addition solidifies Jim Harbaugh's coordinators, joining Greg Roman (OC) and Jesse Minter (DC).

Miami Dolphins: Brian Duker, who spent the last three seasons with the Lions, is leaving to become the secondary coach / pass game coordinator with the Dolphins. Duker spent last season as coaching the Lions defensive backs.

Washington: Sources confirm that Chuck Morrell (co-DC), Inoke Brekterfield (DL) and Nick Brautigam (defensive analyst) are not being retained as a part of Jedd Fisch's staff.

Michigan: Sean Magee, who spent the last two seasons in a chief of staff role with the Bears, is heading back to Ann Arbor as senior associate AD and GM for football, per 247. Magee previously spent five years on the Michigan staff under Jim Harbaugh in an associate AD role before leaving for the NFL.

Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Austin Peay State University Football is looking to hire a Volunteer Assistant working with Special Teams. This is an unpaid position. Please email resume and references to Jack Nudo at nudojAPSU@gmail.com.

Tennessee Titans: Longtime Washington Commanders running backs coach Randy Jordan, who spent over a decade in DC, is joining the Titans staff in the same role, per Jeremy Fowler. JO

LA Chargers: Michigan co-defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale is also expected to join Jim Harbaugh in LA, per 247. Clinkscale spent the past three seasons at Michigan and was at Kentucky for five seasons prior to that.

Seattle Seahawks: Alabama offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb is expected to become the new offensive coordinator for the Seahawks with Mike Macdonald, and multiple reports add he's not the only Alabama assistant set to leave the Tide. Details here.

Baltimore Ravens: Defensive pass game coordinator / secondary coach Chris Hewitt has been elevated to assistant head coach, per Aaron Wilson.

Sacramento State (FCS - CA): Sacramento State Football has an immediate opening for a Recruiting Assistant. The primary responsibility will be On-Campus Recruiting but will have other duties assigned according to skill set. Direct experience is preferred but is not necessary. The Recruiting Assistant will organize and execute on-campus events such as Junior Days, Unofficial and Official Visits. Other responsibilities may include maintaining the recruiting database, performing evaluations, organizing JC and transfer portal recruiting, social media content and on-boarding of student-athletes. Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop and Adobe Premier are desired. This position does not include housing, meals, or benefits, but may include a small stipend. Washington Commanders: Larry Izzo, who spent the past three seasons leading the special teams for the Seahawks, is the new special teams coordinator for Dan Quinn's squad, per reports.

Buffalo: The Bulls have announced the addition of Caleb Haynes as receivers coach. He spent the past five seasons on staff at Stony Brook (FCS) coaching multiple positions, most recently with the receivers.

Pittsburgh Steelers: In addition to Zach Azzani (WRs) and Mateo Kambui (offensive assistant), the Steelers have added former Akron head coach Tom Arth as quarterbacks coach, per Aaron Wilson. He adds that Mike Sullivan, who worked with the quarterbacks the last several years, remains under contract and on staff.

Central Washington (D-II): Central Washington is looking to fill a graduate assistant position. The position will be responsible for the following: Corners, film breakdown (Hudl), practice organization, game day preparation, recruiting assistant, student-athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. This position will include 93% tuition, $14,000 per year stipend, insurance plan, and camp money. Qualifications include bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 gpa and acceptance into the graduate program. New Orleans Saints: Andrew Janocko, who has worked with quarterbacks in Minnesota and Chicago most recently, has been hired as quarterbacks coach for the Saints, Jeremy Fowler shares.

Ohio State: The Buckeyes formally announced the hire of Chip Kelly last night, noting that he has inked a three-year deal with the program.

South Alabama: Major Applewhite and the Jags are moving to add Jackson State (FCS - MS) defensive coordinator Jonathan Bradley to the staff, sources tell FootballScoop.

Jerry Mack: Top Tennessee assistant Jerry Mack is likely heading to the NFL, sources share with FootballScoop.

Frostburg State (D-II - MD): Frostburg State University seeks applications for a full-time contractual exempt defensive line coach to begin in March 2024. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience. Baylor: Dave Aranda has added a former FCS coordinator, who happens to be a Waco native, to his support staff, sources tell FootballScoop.

Indianapolis Colts: Justin Hamilton, who spent last season with the Titans as a defensive quality control coach and is the former defensive coordinator at Virginia Tech, is set to join the Colts staff, sources confirm to FootballScoop.

UCLA: Chip Kelly has reportedly told his team at UCLA that he's leaving for another job, and multiple reports state he's leaving for Ohio State, where he will become Ryan Day's offensive coordinator. It marks the 30th FBS head coaching change of the off season.

Florida: Billy Napier says he'd like to continue calling plays, but did identify a potential successor on staff.

Tennessee Tech (FCS): Bobby Wilder is adding a former Wake Forest staffer to fill his defensive coordinator spot, sources tell FootballScoop.

Colorado: Nearly three months after his hiring was announced, Warren Sapp finally confirmed when he'll join the CU coaching staff.

Collectives: "I've told every AD in the country," a Collective CEO said, "stop hiring analysts, fund your NIL instead."
