Cal: Eastern Washington (FCS) co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach Jeff McDaniels has accepted the assistant tight ends / assistant offensive line coach. McDaniels will now be coaching under new Cal offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin at a third different program, having coached under him for multiple seasons at Auburn in addition to Boise State.
Troy: Tyler Hancock has accepted the special teams coordinator job after one season at Buffalo and prior stops at Baylor, Charlotte, Maryland, WVU and Kentucky.
Baltimore Ravens: John Harbaugh is reportedly filling a key defensive assistant coaching position on staff with an ACC coordinator.
Las Vegas Raiders: The team has interviewed Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson for their offensive coordinator opening, per Jonathan Jones. Johnson is also a candidate for the same opening with the Texans.
Chicago Bears: Ben Johnson is adding former UCLA offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, known best for his time with the Chiefs and one season with the Commanders as offensive coordinator, as the new running backs coach, per multiple reports.
Campbell (FCS - NC): Braxton Harris is adding an FBS defensive assistant on the defensive side of the ball, sources share.
Dallas Cowboys: David Overstreet is joining the staff as corners coach after working with new Cowboys defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus in Chicago, per Todd Archer.
Oklahoma: Brent Venables will be his own play-caller in 2025. In doubling down on his successful defense, he will by definition spend less time on the aspects of his program that put his job in jeopardy in the first place and hand an enormous amount of responsibility to his 30-year-old offensive coordinator.
Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are expected to interview a former player-turned-top college assistant for a job on Brian Schottenheimer's new staff.
Garden City CC (JC - KS): Garden City CC is looking to hire an entry level coaching positions for an assistant defensive backs coach. It will be a perfect fit for a young coach that wants to break into the college coaching profession. Will report to the head coach and DC. You will assist with the day in and day out operations of the GCCC football program. You will have the opportunity to coach on the field, have your own recruiting area, do in person recruiting and establish relationships with many four year coaches. This position will be provided with shared housing, on campus meals, medical benefits and $20k. Oklahoma: CBS Sports shares that Nate Dreiling, who we shared yesterday was being targeted for a spot on the defensive staff in Norman yesterday, will coach the inside linebackers for the Sooners.
Ohio State: Ohio State is set to lose another key assistant from Ryan Day's coaching staff.
Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): Per source, former Kennesaw State offensive line coach / run game coordinator Cameron Norcross is joining the staff as offensive line coach.
Maryland: Veteran college and NFL offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton will reportedly be the Terps new offensive coordinator.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns are snagging Notre Dame's assistant receivers coach, sources tell FootballScoop.
St. Andrews (NAIA - NC): St. Andrews has hired Matt Quinn as their head football coach, per source. Quinn has previously spent seven years as a head coach in North and South Carolina, most recently at Chesterfield HS (SC).
Samford (FCS - AL): Chris Hatcher and Samford are adding a staffer from Auburn for a critical offensive role, sources share.
Washington State: Jimmy Rogers is adding a number of guys on both sides of the ball sources tell FootballScoop.
Oklahoma State: Oklahoma State has approved a shorter, lighter contract for Mike Gundy.
Mississippi State: Jeff Lebby is adding a veteran FBS head coach to his defensive staff in Starkville, per report.
Western Illinois (FCS): After a year with a top 25 FCS offense, Joe Davis is reloading his offensive staff with a hire from the Mountain West, sources share.
UConn: Sources tell Football Jim Mora is adding a new pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach to staff, and he comes with experience working at programs like Georgia, Notre Dame and Alabama.
Norfolk State (FCS - VA): Michael Vick is adding a former SEC quarterback to the defensive staff, sources tell FootballScoop.
Northwestern: The Wildcats have added a former South Dakota State offensive coordinator to their support staff.
Cincinnati Bengals: Al Golden is bringing a Notre Dame staffer with him to the NFL, sources tell FootballScoop.
Western Michigan: Lance Taylor and the Broncos are reportedly raiding Jim Harbaugh's staff with the Chargers to bring a former Notre Dame assistant to Kalamazoo as their new defensive coordinator.
