FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Kansas: In addition to the group of assistants Lance Leipold is planning to bring from Buffalo, sources tell FootballScoop Leipold plans to retain a number of KU assistants.

Akron: UW-Green Bay athletic director Charles Guthrie is expected to be the new athletic director at Akron, per the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Kansas: Lance Leipold is planning on bringing these seven assistant coaches from Buffalo to Kansas, per report.

Jackson State (FCS - MS): "Fight with me not against me." Deion has a message to fellow HBCU head coaches in getting their players to the NFL.

Concordia-Chicago (D-III - IL): The program has decided to make a coaching change and is expected to tab an FBS staffer with program rebuilding experience.

The Apprentice School (D-III*-VA): The Apprentice School is looking for a week 1 game (Sept. 4th). Willing to sign a home and home but MUST be a home game in 2021. Army: Per source, the following people have joined the recruiting staff at Army: former Robert Morris (FCS - PA) tight ends coach / recruiting coordinator Delbert Tyler II, former Utah State quality control coach Jake Pollack, former UNLV director of player personnel Eric Sheridan, and former Temple director of creative media Ayden Opfer.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags have parted ways with director of college scouting Mark Ellenz, assistant director of college scouting Paul Roell, assistant director of player personnel Andy Dengler, director of pro scouting Chris Driggers and area scout Jared Kirksey, Neil Stratton tweets.

Southwest Baptist (D-II – MO): Southwest Baptist University is seeking candidates for an offensive line coach. This is a full-time salary position with benefits. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; experience recruiting own territory; experience coaching the position. Mercer (FCS - GA): Mercer has an immediate opening for a defensive assistant position. This is strictly a VOLUNTEER position; there is NO compensation, housing OR benefits. Position includes, but is not limited to: assisting with a position on the field and in the meeting room, video editing/coordinating, film sharing, manage and direct scout team, weekly data input, weekly analytics, on-campus recruiting assistance and other duties assigned by the head coach. Ideal candidates must have high energy, be self-motivated, be highly-organized, a proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other computer skills. North Carolina Wesleyan College (D-III - NC): North Carolina Wesleyan College is seeking applicants for a Defensive Assistant coach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching a position (LB or DB experience preferred), maintaining a recruiting territory and film breakdown (HUDL). Position includes secondary duty within residence life (Housing). Compensation includes $15,000 salary, Housing and Meals. Contract to begin August 1st. Colorado Mesa (D-II): Per source, defensive backs coach Darren Jackson is leaving to pursue a high school opportunity and the defensive backs job is open.

Louisiana College (D-III): Louisiana College is seeking a graduate assistant coach that will be working with the defense. Job Responsibilities include assisting a position room, film breakdown, all practice setup and breakdown, overseeing academics of position groups and all other responsibilities assigned by Head Football Coach or Athletic Director. Candidate would need to be accepted into one of the Masters programs at LC including Educational Leadership or Social Work. Position would include housing and a $250 per semester for meals. Starting date would be August 1st. Candidate must adhere to the Louisiana College personal conduct policy. New England Patriots: Bill Belichick shared with reporters over the weekend that this last draft would be the final one for longtime Patriots staffer and football research director Ernie Adams.

Northwestern: Deputy athletic director Mike Polisky has now officially been named the school's newathletic director. Polisky replaces Jim Phillips, who left Evanston back in February to become the ACC commissioner.

New England Patriots: West coast area scout Jon Howard and the organization have mutually agreed to part ways, according to Neil Stratton.

New Orleans Saints: Former Bills and Texans scout and exec CJ Leak is returning to the team in a to-be-determined scouting role, Neil Stratton tweets. Leak most recently served as the Texans director of pro scouting and previously worked with the Saints from 2016-18.

Kenyon (D-III – OH): Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach on offense, preferably offensive line. This is a full time, 10-month position with full benefits and a salary range of 24-28K. This position will also serve as Recruiting Coordinator or Director of Football Operations (best fit). Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, teaching, and / or administration. Bachelor degree and 3-5 years of collegiate coaching experience required. Master’s degree preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record by insurance standards. Alabama A&M (FCS): Head coach Connell Maynor has agreed to a four-year contract extension with the school. In his third season leading the program, Maynor has 4-0 overall and in the SWAC championship game scheduled to take place this weekend.

Presentation (NAIA - SD): Presentation College, an NAIA program located in Aberdeen, SD is looking for a Fall 2021, Week 2 opponent. This will be an Sept. 4, 2021 home game.
