Carolina Panthers: The team has announced the following changes to their scouting and personnel staff. In addition to assistant GM Dan Morgan, the Panthers have promoted Pat Stewart to VP of player personnel and coaching assistant EJ Barthel is moving to a pro scouting position while Cole Spencer has been hired as the new director of college scouting and longtime college scout Jeff Morrow is now a senior personnel executive. Corners coach Evan Cooper has added the title of director of player evaluation and the team has added new national scouts in Jared Kirksey and Tyler Ramsey and area scout Jon Howard, scouting coordinator Samantha Diamond and scouting assistants David Cobb and Corey Fuller.
San Diego (FCS): Former Arizona wide receivers coach Taylor Mazzone is the new receivers coach at San Diego, Bruce Feldman tweets. Mazzone has previously worked on staffs at Texas A&M and UCLA.
West Alabama (D-II): The University of West Alabama has a immediate opening for a defensive graduate assistant. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree.
