Long-time ball coach Steve Kragthorpe died last night following a battle with Parkinson's. Coach will be remembered for the relationships he impacted. He earned his eternal rest. Our prayers are with the Kragthorpes.

Lamar (FCS - TX): Lamar University Football program is looking to fill an Academic & Operations Graduate Assistant. This position will work closely with our Academic Coordinator and athletes. The position will also assist the Director of Football Operations with day-to-day tasks. This position includes a scholarship for tuition & a $5,200 stipend per semester. Bethel (NAIA - TN): Bethel University is seeking applicants for a defensive backs graduate assistant. 50% graduate tuition, housing, full meal plan and a stipend are included. This position will be responsible for coaching their own position group on the defensive side of the ball and recruiting their own area. Admission into the Graduate program is required. Miami: UT-Martin (FCS - TN) defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator Devin Santana has joined the 'Canes staff as an analyst, per 247. Before joining the UT-Martin staff, Santana assisted the defensive line at Auburn and App State.

East Carolina: Mark Hatcher has been elevated to recruiting coordinator after serving as defensive graduate assistant the past two seasons.

Avila (NAIA - MO): Avila University has an immediate opening for a Defensive Line Coach. This will be a restricted earnings position that will include housing and meals. Responsibilities will include coaching the Defensive Line as well as all things that go along with coaching; recruiting; organize official and unofficial visits; assist with practice, game preparations, planning of travel itineraries; assist the head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring, fundraising, game management, scheduling and any other duties assigned by the Head Coach or defensive Coordinator. Michigan State: Madi Harris has joined the Spartans staff as director of recruiting operations. She previously served in the same capacity at James Madison.

Salve Regina (D-III - RI): Salve Regina is seeking applicants for a defensive Intern position. Coach will be responsible for coaching their own position group and assisting the coordinators and head coach in all areas of the program. The stipend pays $3,000. No housing or benefits. Shorter University (D-II - GA): Shorter University is seeking applicants for a Defensive graduate assistant coaching position. Responsibilities include coaching a position, managing a recruiting territory, coordinating on-campus visits, Hudl video, scouting reports/breakdowns and other duties assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Experience playing or coaching at the college level is preferred. Position includes 100% tuition waiver for the Master’s program of your choosing (which is an exclusively online program), and a full meal plan. There is no stipend for this position. There will be the opportunity for additional income available. On campus housing is not available. Admission to the Shorter University Graduate School (minimum GPA of 2.5) is required. Position must start ASAP. Shorter University is a private Baptist university in Rome, Georgia. It was founded in 1873. In the fall of 2020, it traditional enrollment reached 1,250 students. The 155-acre main academic and residential campus is located 70 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia in Rome. As a Christian institution the coaches at Shorter University lead by example on and off the field. Steve Addazio: Former Temple, Boston College, and Colorado State head coach Steve Addazio is on a new roster this fall.
