The DPP will be responsible for assisting in the communication with all recruits, managing relationships with on-campus personnel, and coordinating visits for potential student-athletes. Kenyon (D-III - OH): Kelvin Melgar has accepted the defensive backs job at Kenyon, per source. Back in February he joined the CSU-Pueblo (D-II) staff as a defensive analyst, and logged a previous stop at the FCS level at Western Carolina as a defensive analyst as well. From 2019-23 he served as the defensive coordinator at Gustavus Adolphus (D-III - MN).
Elon University (FCS - NC): Elon University is accepting applications for an entry level, on the field, Assistant/Quality Control Football Coach on the defensive side of the ball who would work directly with our defensive line. This position will assist the coaching staff with day-to-day operations including film breakdown, game-planning, on-the-field coaching responsibilities, scouting, and recruiting. Previous interns have gone on to GA/QC roles. This is a stipend paid position. Special consideration will be given to local candidates.
