LSU: Missouri defensive coordinator Blake Baker is taking the same job at LSU, per multiple reports. This will be a triumphant return for the former LSU assistant.

Pitt: Pat Narduzzi is making major changes, parting ways with three experienced coaches today sources share. 

Maryland: Henry Baker, who has spent the last four seasons on staff coaching defensive backs, producing multiple All-BigTen players and draft picks (including a 1st round pick in 2023 in Deonte Banks), will not be part of the staff in 2024 sources share. Baker was an assistant defensive backs coach with the New York Giants before joining the Terrapins staff.

Syracuse: As expected, New York Giants running backs coach Jeff Nixon has officially been announced as offensive coordinator / running backs coach.

Wooster (D-III - OH): The College of Wooster is seeking a Defensive Line coach. This is a full-time position with benefits that pays $29K. Plus, an opportunity to earn an additional $6K, Housing, and Meals with additional Residence Life responsibilities (this is optional). Marist (FCS - NY): Mike Horan, who spent the last 15 seasons on staff at Harvard (FCS - MA) most recently as defensive line coach, has been announced as defensive coordinator / defensive line coach.

Holy Cross (FCS - MA): After seven seasons as the linebackers coach, Brian Vaganek has been elevated to defensive coordinator. Also, Rich Gunnell is returning to the staff as wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator, the same role he held the prior two seasons.

Ottawa (NAIA - AZ): Ottawa University Arizona has immediate openings for offensive and defensive graduate assistants or restricted earnings positions. College coaching and recruiting experience is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, equipment organization, practice planning, coaching a position group, leading meetings, film breakdown, player evaluation, recruiting, program marketing, and assisting in general day-to-day football operations. Charleston (D-II - WV): The University of Charleston has an opening for a coach working on the Offensive side of the ball. This is an entry-level position that includes housing and a stipend. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, lead position meetings, game script input, recruiting, film breakdown, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and/or Offensive Coordinator. Requirements: bachelor's degree, previous collegiate playing and/or coaching experience. Interviews will begin at the AFCA convention. Quincy (D-II - IL): Quincy University is taking applications for an Assistant Football/Offensive Line Coach. University of Charleston (D-II - WV): The University of Charleston has an opening for a coach working on the Defensive side of the ball. Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Shane Tucker has been announced as wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator, and Brandon Williams has been announced as linebackers coach.

Army: Running backs coach Darren Paige will not return to the staff, and quarterbacks coach / run game coordinator Cody Worley will serve as offensive coordinator as the program transitions back to more under center option schemes.

Auburn: Today Hugh Freeze announced offensive coordinator Philip Montgomery will not return. Sources share Freeze has additional changes in mind as well. Stay tuned... 

UCLA: As we shared several weeks back, UCLA has now officially promoted Ken Niumatalolo to tight ends coach. 

Curry (D-III - MA): Curry College located in Milton, MA (7 miles outside of Boston) is looking for a WEEK 5 game. Due to another program backing out, this MUST BE A HOME GAME as it is our scheduled Homecoming Weekend. Please contact Head Coach, Todd Parsons at todd.parsons@curry.edu.

Harvard (FCS - MA): After 15 seasons on staff, defensive line coach Michael Horan has stepped down.

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Head coach Blaine McCorkle has rounded out his staff with the additions of Norman Joseph (OC / QBs) and Cade Camp (OL). Joseph spent last season as the offensive coordinator at Stetson (FCS - FL) and prior to that was the head coach at McGill-Toolen HS (AL). Camp joins the program after a season at Midwestern State (D-II - TX) coaching the offensive line.

Norwich (D-III - VT): In addition to Bobby Johnson III as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach as we shared yesterday, Pat Madden has been named defensive coordinator and will coach the safeties. He previously coached the defensive backs at Norwich from 2019-2021. Former New England and Wagner assistant PJ Arcuri has been hired as outside linebackers coach. Also, Brasean Stewart will move from running backs to corners, where he was a four-time all conference selection for the program, Matt Evans will move from receivers to quarterbacks, and defensive line coach RJ Mason has been elevated to special teams coordinator. Trevor Chase, who just finished his playing career, will join the program as a graduate assistant working with the wide receivers.

Albany State (D-II - GA): Albany State has an immediate opening for a full-time position coach for wide receivers. This position comes with full benefits. Albany State has a rich football tradition and finished 2nd in the SIAC in 2023 under first year head coach Quinn Gray. Looking to hire a candidate with college coaching or professional coaching experience. Looking for a candidate who understands the needs and demands of a D2 HBCU football program. Candidate should have experience coaching or playing the WR position. Also needs to have experience in dealing with collegiate administration and have a welcoming and approachable attitude towards working with others. Maryland: Mike Locksley is reportedly adding an ACC coordinator to his staff. 

Wilkes (D-III - PA): Wilkes University invites applicants for a Director of Football Operations & Facilities Intern in the Intercollegiate Athletics Department for the 2023-24 academic year. A bachelor’s degree is required and previous participation and/or coaching experience is strongly preferred. This position includes housing, meals and a stipend. The successful candidate is responsible to assist the head coach in all facets of the Football program; exhibit the ability to utilize various technology; have active involvement in student- athlete recruitment; assist with practice and game preparation with a focus on player development. Fulfill all equipment and facility needs for all 23 Athletic Teams on campus. Assist with all equipment ordering, game preparation, site & event management, and to assist the supervisor with all daily tasks. North Carolina: Mack Brown and UNC are zeroing in on their top defensive coordinator target, and sources tell FootballScoop it's former Georgia Tech head coach Geoff Collins.

Maine Maritime (D-III): Maine Maritime Academy is seeking applicants for both offensive and defensive Interns. Coach will be responsible for coaching their own position group and assisting the coordinators and head coach in all areas of the program. The stipend pays $9,000 for 9 months and includes housing. Western Illinois: Western Illinois invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Football Video/Creative Media within the department of Athletics. This pre-professional, 10-month position includes a tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for the WIU Graduate School. The anticipated start date is ASAP with classes beginning January 16, 2024. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Acquisition, editing and distribution of videotaped practices 2. Acquisition, editing and distribution of videotaped games 3. Help organize opponent exchange using DV Sport Film Room 4. Help markup/prepare downloaded games from DV Sport Film Room 5. Help with hiring and training new/current student employees 6. Organize video setup for practices and games 7. Aid in lending technical support to the players and coaching staff when they are pursuing a project that requires the use of the editing software 8. Minnesota Duluth (D-II): The University of Minnesota Duluth is seeking a Defensive Assistant working with the Secondary. Prior coaching/playing experience with the secondary is preferred. Shorter (D-II - GA): Shorter University is seeking applicants for a TWO Defensive graduate assistant coaching position (DB & LB). Responsibilities include coaching a position, managing a recruiting territory, coordinating on-campus visits, Hudl video, scouting reports/breakdowns and other duties assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Experience playing or coaching at the college level is preferred. Position includes 100% tuition waiver for the Master’s program of your choosing (which is an exclusively online program), and a full meal plan. There is no stipend for this position. There will be the opportunity for additional income available. On campus housing is not available. Admission to the Shorter University Graduate School (minimum GPA of 2.5) is required. Position must start no later than mid-February. Shorter University is a private Baptist university in Rome, Georgia. It was founded in 1873. In the fall of 2020, it traditional enrollment reached 1,250 students. The 155-acre main academic and residential campus is located 70 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia in Rome. As a Christian institution the coaches at Shorter University lead by example on and off the field. WashU (D-III - St. Louis, MO): Washington University is currently accepting applications for a full-time assistant coaching position. Minnesota: Bob Ligashesky is set to join the staff as special teams coordinator, according to multiple reports. Ligashesky spent the past two seasons at Syracuse and previously spent time in the Big Ten at Illinois as well as in the NFL.

Florida: We can confirm that former Texas A&M associate AD for football Mark Robinson is expected to join the staff in a high-ranking position. 247 has reported the same.

North Carolina State: NC State is seeking to hire a defensive line graduate assistant coach. Candidates ideally will have experience coaching the defensive line, and working in Microsoft Office and additional technology. Candidacy relies on ability to be accepted into Graduate School. Northeastern State University (D-II - OK): Northeastern State is seeking to hire WR Graduate Assistant Coach. Candidates will work directly with Head Coach Darrin Chiaverini. Stephen F. Austin (FCS - TX): SFA is currently looking for 3 volunteer assistants (1 offense / 1 defense / 1 special teams). Job responsibilities would include but are not limited to film breakdown, helping with all aspects of recruiting, assisting with game preparation and assisting with a position group. This is an unpaid position, which can lead to a paid position . Applicants must be proficient in Catapult video software, Microsoft Office, Google Docs as well as other basic technology devices. Campbell (FCS - NC): Steven Williams, who spent the past five seasons on staff most recently as assistant head coach and special teams coordinator, is no longer part of the staff.

Assumption (D-II - MA): Assumption University, located in Worcester, MA is seeking applications for a Special Team Coordinator that coaches a defensive position, either LBs or DL. Duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating all aspects of special teams, coaching assigned position, and recruiting an assigned territory. Butler (FCS - IN): The program has filled their defensive coordinator opening following the departure of Jeff Knowles to Ball State by promoting defensive line coach Adam Siwicki to defensive coordinator. He previously called defenses at St. Francis (NAIA - IN) and Culver-Stockton (NAIA - IN).

UTEP: Buddy O'Dell has joined the program as general manager after serving in the same role for Scotty Walden at Austin Peay (FCS - TN) last season.

Albright (D-III - PA): Albright College Football in Reading, PA has openings for a full-time offensive line coach (salary and benefits), secondary coach ($10k) and an assistant special teams coordinator ($10k). For the secondary coaching position, grad school is optional, plus housing, on road recruiting and other duties assigned. Assistant Special Teams Coordinator will oversee and assist special teams coordinator in all units. Will coach on-field with special teams, help with specialist and assist on-field with offense or defense in practice with position drills and scout team. This position is for someone that wants to become a special teams coordinator. Special teams experience not required but encouraged especially if you have experience working with specialists. Oklahoma: After initially turning to the veteran Ted Roof, Brent Venables is pivoting to his 30-year-old protege to run the Sooners defense.

Manchester (D-III - IN): Manchester University is currently accepting applications for a full-time assistant coaching position, with a preference given to candidates who have experience coaching offensive skill. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Coaching your own position group, assisting in game planning, recruiting your own area.
