Dallas Cowboys: Jeremy Fowler shares that former Bears head coach Matt Eberflus, a former Cowboys assistant from 2011-17, is a prime candidate for the defensive coordinator job under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
San Francisco: The 49ers have formally announced the hire of Robert Saleh as their new defensive coordinator.
Dallas Cowboys: Jerry Jones is hiring Brian Schottenheimer as the new head coach of the 'Boys.
Chicago: Cowboys defensive backs coach Al Harris is set to join the Bears' staff per Adam Schefter who shares Harris will serve as defensive pass game coordinator / defensive backs. Former Ohio State QB, JT Barrett has shared that he will be quarterbacks coach for the Bears as well. Barrett was assistant quarterbacks coach for the Lions.
Florida: The Gators are targeting Jacksonville State defensive coordinator Vinnie Sunseri for a senior role on Billy Napier's staff sources tell FootballScoop.
New Orleans: The Saints, after taking a few weather days, have resumed their search, interviewing Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver today.
Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins are hiring Robert Prince as receivers coach Tom Pelissero has shared. Prince coached receivers for the Cowboys this past few years.
Detroit: Offensive line coach Hank Fraley is being promoted, adding run game coordinator title, Tom Pelissero has shared. Fraley was being courted by the Seahawks and Bears for roles on their staff.
USC: Sources tell FootballScoop USC is targeting Notre Dame's Chad Bowden for their general manager role. Update> The Trojans got their man. Our John Brice reports the deal is complete and the dollars involved are notable.
Pete Carroll: Pete Carroll is back in the NFL, and he took the right job. Not because he has a connection to the Raiders, but because it puts him back in competition with Jim Harbaugh once more.
Houston Texans: Assistant offensive line coach Cole Popovich is a top internal candidate to fill the offensive line job, per Ian Rapoport. He's the former offensive line coach at Troy and has previously coached with the Patriots.
Georgia State: Bryant Ross, who worked with the offensive line at Louisiana from 2018-20, has been announced as an offensive assistant where he will work with the offensive line. Also, defensive line coach Jeremy Hawkins has been elevated to assistant head coach.
Missouri State (FCS): Per source, former Southeast Missouri State linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Connor Benado has accepted a linebacker job at Missouri State. He previously served as a graduate assistant with the program.
Northern Illinois: After the upset of the year in college football, Thomas Hammock has reportedly drawn interest from three NFL teams.
UTEP: Mark Cala has now been announced as offensive coordinator and Joshua Eargle has been announced as tight ends coach / offensive run game coordinator.
Thiel (D-III - PA): Thiel College has an opening for a Defensive Coordinator. Candidates will be responsible for running the defense, managing a staff and will be given their own recruiting area. This is a full time salaried position. Interested candidates need to apply through this link.
Georgia Tech: The program has announced the additions of Kobie Jones (CBs), Mike Polly (assistant OL), and Emil Dkiyor Jr. (quality control - offensive line).
UCF: As we previously shared, Stanford linebackers coach Mark D'Onofrio has been named to the same post at UCF.
South Dakota State (FCS): Dan Jackson has finalized his staff with the additions we've shared over the past two days, Luke Bengtson (WRs) and Marcus McLin (CBs).
Jacksonville Jaguars: New head coach Liam Coen's deal is for five years, according to Jeremy Fowler.
New England Patriots: Per Albert Breer, John Streicher's official title with the organization will be vice president of football operations and strategy.
Murray State (FCS - KY): Sources tell FootballScoop the Racers are adding a former SEC assistant under Spurrier to their defensive staff.
New England Patriots: After three seasons with the Titans and assistant defensive line coach / pass rush specialist, Clinton McMillan is joining the Patriots, per Mark Daniels.
Jacksonville Jaguars: The team's hire of Liam Coen as the new head coach is now official.
Houston Texans: Aaron Wilson notes that leading internal candidates for the recently opened offensive coordinator spot are Jerrod Johnson (QBs), Bill Lazor (senior offensive assistant), and Ben McDaniels (WRs / offensive pass game coordinator as well as Rams tight ends coach / pass game coordinator Nick Caley.
Georgia Tech: Former Kennesaw State head coach Brian Bohannon has been announced as an offensive assistant.
Houston Texans: DeMeco Ryans has decided to move on from offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, per multiple reports. Offensive line coach Chris Strausser also will not return, Ian Rapoport adds.
Georgia State: Deron Wilson has been announced as defensive coordinator. He spent the last two seasons on staff at Arkansas.
Crown (D-III - MN): Per source, former Norfolk State (FCS) defensive line coach Lamont Butler, who also has stops at Concordia Chicago (D-III) and Trinity International (NAIA), has been named offensive coordinator.
New England Patriots: Ohio State offensive assistant Riley Larkin is joining the Patriots in the same capacity, per ESPN. Larkin worked with the Buckeye quarterbacks last season.
Houston: The program has announced new titles for Zac Etheridge (defensive pass game coordinator / defensive backs) and James Ross (defensive run game coordinator / outside linebackers and defensive ends).
Wake Forest: Colorado State linebackers coach Adam Pilapil is expected to take the same position on Jake Dickert's staff, per ESPN.
Stanford: UCLA special teams coordinator / corners coach Kodi Whitfield has accepted a job at his alma mater, per ESPN. Kodi previously worked for Stanford head coach Troy Taylor at Sacramento State.
Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have hired Texans assistant defensive line coach Nate Ollie as their new defensive line coach.
Tennessee: Pete Thamel shares that defensive coordinator Tim Banks has finalized his deal to remain with the Vols. He's got a new three-year deal worth $2.15 million annually taking him through the 2027 season.
Atlanta Falcons: Former Jets linebackers coach Mike Rutenberg is following new Falcons DC Jeff Ulbrich to Atlanta as the new defensive pass game coordinator, per Jeremy Fowler.
Las Vegas Raiders: The Raiders have their man, per report.
South Dakota State (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop Dan Jackson is continuing to build his staff with top coordinators, this time from one of the highest scoring offenses in Division II.
Saginaw Valley State (D-II - MI): Saginaw Valley State invites applicants for the full-time position of Assistant Football Coach. The candidate will serve as the Tight Ends Coach & Pass Game Coordinator. In addition, possible Offensive Coordinator, Co-Offensive Coordinator, and Assistant Head Coach opportunity for the right candidate. This position will include program administrative specific duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Previous collegiate coaching and recruiting experience is preferred but not required. Jacksonville Jaguars: Liam Coen's pending hire in Jacksonville marks end to one of the wildest coaching searches in recent NFL history.
Alabama A&M (FCS): Marco Coleman, the former defensive line coach at Georgia Tech, Michigan State and with the Raiders, has been named the new defensive line coach.
Chicago Bears: Jon Hoke (DBs) and Chad Morton (RBs) are both not expected to return as part of Ben Johnson's new staff, per Patrick Finley.
Jim Knowles: Fresh off a national title, Jim Knowles is now being pursued by multiple national powers, sources tell FootballScoop.
Dean College (D-III - MA): Dean College Football is currently seeking a full-time coach on the offensive side of the ball. This is a 12 month, salary/benefited jobs. All Positions will be considered, looking for best fit. For the right candidate, Recruiting Coordinator possible. Minimum qualifications include Bachelorโs degree and successful coaching, playing, and/or teaching experience. Duties include: coaching your own room, recruiting a designated area, film breakdown, assist coordinator with gameplans and practice plans, and anything else assigned by the Head Coach. Hawaii: Cade Socha has been promoted from a quality control and analyst role to quarterbacks coach / pass game coordinator.
Independence CC (JC - KS): Arbor View HS (NV) head coach Marlon Barnett has resigned from that post to become the new offensive coordinator at Independence CC.
Charleston Southern (FCS - SC): Charleston Southern University has an Operations Graduate Assistant position available. This role is a non-coaching position working in all aspects of football operations and team academics as well as other duties assigned by the Head Coach. There is no stipend for this position, however, full tuition for graduate school, meal plan, and on campus housing will be provided. Charleston Southern is a Christian University. Liam Coen: Liam Coen has reportedly told the Bucs he has accepted the offer to become head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars per Rick Stroud.
San Francisco 49ers: Brant Boyer, who has been the special teams coordinator for the Jets since 2016, has interviewed with the Niners for the same spot on staff, per Matt Maiocco of NBCS Sports Bay Area.
UNLV: Sources tell FootballScoop Dan Mullen is hiring Jeremy Bruce as his new outside linebackers coach.
San Francisco 49ers: Robert Saleh is heading back to San Francisco as the team's new defensive coordinator, per The Athletic. Saleh, who was the Niners defensive coordinator back in 2017 for a few seasons, interviewed with the Cowboys, Jaguars and Raiders the past few weeks for their head coaching jobs.
New England Patriots: Ashton Grant is joining the team as quarterbacks coach after five seasons with the Browns, per Jonathan Jones.
Boston College: Julian Rowe-Cohen has joined the Eagles as director of high school recruiting and player personnel. He spent the last few seasons on staff at North Carolina as director of scouting.
Chicago Bears: Ben Johnson and the Bears have requested a defensive coordinator interview with Vikings defensive backs coach Daronte Jones, Ian Rapoport shares.
Bethel (NAIA - TN): Bethel University is currently looking for (1) full time entry level defensive backs coach and (1) defensive graduate assistant linebacker coach.
