Texas A&M reportedly parts ways with key staffer (Texas A&M)

Jimbo Fisher is reportedly in the market for a new key support staff hire.

According to multiple reports, Texas A&M and director of player personnel Kevin Mashack have parted ways.

Mashack is a veteran of the personnel and coaching ranks, serving in a variety of roles at Tennessee State and with the Jacksonville Jaguars for a few seasons.

In Jacksonville he worked in the scouting and player personnel department, and he mentored both the running backs and receivers during his two stints with Tennessee State.

He also had a brief stint in the Big Ten at Indiana as director of player personnel and high school relations before joining Fisher's staff in College Station back in the spring of last year.

After pulling in the top recruiting class in the country heading into 2022, the Aggies recruiting has slipped to #15 nationally (per On3) for the 2023 class following a disappointing 5-7 year.
