Baker (NAIA - KS): The Baker University Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking ONE Part-Time Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach (& 25 hrs/wk). The position will report directly to the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with football and the opportunity to lead 2-4 teams to be determined upon hire. Hours will vary and will include early mornings and late evenings. Other responsibilities include: daily maintenance and upkeep of facility, interns, etc. The Part-Time Candidate will receive a $10,000 stipend split between the fall and spring semesters, gear, 20 meals in school cafeteria, valuable hands-on coaching experience in all aspects as well as the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of Strength & Conditioning. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a BA/BS in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field. CPR, First Aid and AED certification required. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCCa, CSCS or NSCA) or must be able to obtain within six months of hire. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, positive energy, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic. Start date is negotiable during Fall 2024.
