Virginia Tech: The Assistant Director for Strength & Conditioning / Olympic Sports assists all strength and conditioning personnel to implement the strategic plan of strength and conditioning to enhance the student athlete experience of each Olympic Sport athlete within Virginia Tech's Athletic Department. This position will be responsible for assisting in management of all aspects of personnel, facilities and budget matters pertaining to nineteen Olympic Sports. Position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Strength and Conditioning / Olympic Sports. Hold at least one of the following two certifications: 1) Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist National Strength and Conditioning Association. OR 2) Strength & conditioning Coach Certified Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. CPR/AED.Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in Division 1 collegiate athletics or professional Strength and Conditioning setting as a graduate assistant or coach. Keiser (NAIA - FL): Keiser is looking to hire a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach. The Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will work closely with the Strength Coaches, Director of Sports Medicine, and Coaching Staff in planning, developing, implementing, communicating and administering the goals of this position in order to help fulfill University and Department objectives. A Required Qualifications: Bachrelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Sports Sciences or a similar field, and experience working with a collegiate athletic program. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCCa, CSCS or NSCA) or must be able to obtain within one year of hire.
