Sources: Boston College adding former NFL, SEC assistant to offensive staff (Featured)

Multiple NFL stops. A year in the Southeastern Conference.

Last year in the Ivy League.

Andrew Breiner, just 41 years old, has a deep coaching history. He's now adding to it.

Sources tell FootballScoop that Breiner is joining former NFL head coach Bill O'Brien's Boston College staff.

Specifically, per sources, Breiner has accepted the role of senior offensive analyst at Boston College.

It's the latest stop in a coaching career that includes a pair of NFL stints -- a year with the Philadelphia Eagles, three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars -- and follows up on Breiner spending the 2025 season as Brown University's wide receivers coach.

A former Lock Haven player who initiated his coaching career at his alma mater, Breiner now is two decades into his coaching tenure. He's logged stops at UConn, Fordham, Florida International University (FIU) and Mississippi State, among other work in a coaching journey that started in 2006.

In his time at Mississippi State, Breiner served as quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator for the SEC program.

He was a passing game analyst for the NFL's Eagles and also served as assistant quarterbacks coach for three seasons in Jacksonville, helping the Jaguars develop prized franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
