Arizona State: Arizona State University is currently accepting applications for the SPRING 24 volunteer internship positions. These are positions for the SPRING 2024 training session, JANUARY - MAY, with the opportunity to stay longer. Qualified candidates would work with all facets of a NCAA Division 1 FBS FOOTBALL sports performance program. This is an UNPAID position. However, the position offers the opportunity for advancement in the field of strength and conditioning, as well as the fulfillment of credit hours towards a degree program. The position is responsible for assisting FOOTBALL sports performance staff with the implementation of the program, set up and break down of all workouts, maintenance and upkeep of the weight room and facility, and hands-on experience training collegiate athletes. Required qualifications include completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in exercise science or a related course of study, a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional, and possess a strong work ethic. Preferred qualifications include certification from a recognized governing body (USAW, CSCS, CSCCa), previous coaching experience and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic movements. UNC Charlotte: The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) Football Strength and Conditioning is accepting applications for volunteer internship positions for Winter/ Spring . Start date is January 8th. These are UNPAID positions. Interested candidates should have or be working toward a degree in Exercise Science or a related field and possess or currently pursuing CSCS or SCCC certifications. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a strong desire to pursue collegiate Athletic Performance. Candidates will have opportunities to work with all aspects of a division one football program and gain experience with sport science technologies GPS (Stats sport) and VBT (Gymaware). Avila (NAIA - MO): Avila University invites all applicants for the position of Full-Time Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position reports to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and includes overseeing 4-6 assigned sports and assisting with football. Bachelor’s degree required, master's degree preferred. Candidates must have the NSCA-CSCS or CSCCa-SCCC certification along with active CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. Candidates interested in pursuing the SCCC certification will have the opportunity to meet the qualification under an approved site mentor and MSCC. Experience with GPS implementation and velocity-based training are beneficial but can be learned hands-on. The ideal start date would be the first week of January, 2024. Pacific: Pacific Tigers Athletic Performance is accepting applications for volunteer internship positions for the upcoming fall semester. Start date is January 17th and will run through April 26th. These are UNPAID positions. Interested candidates should have or be working toward a degree in Exercise Science or a related field and possess or currently pursuing CSCS or SCCC certifications. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a strong desire to pursue collegiate Athletic Performance.  Candidates will have opportunities to work with all 17 Division-1 sports, gain experience with sport science technologies such as VALD equipment (force plates, Smart Speed timing gates, Dynamo, and Air Bands) and GPS equipment (Catapult and Polar). Candidates will also have the opportunity to work through a comprehensive coach development program centered around preparing them for their first full time or graduate assistant role. Mississippi State: Shaud Williams has been named head strength and conditioning coach on Jeff Lebby's staff after spending the past six seasons at Oregon as the Ducks top assistant strength coach.

Detroit Mercy: The University of Detroit Mercy is accepting applications for unpaid internships for the spring 2024 semester beginning January 8th. Interns will have the opportunity to assist in implementing programs for 17 Division I sports including men's and women's basketball. This is a coaching intensive internship, and successful candidates will have the opportunity for hands on work including assisting with supervision and execution of training sessions, assisting with testing and sports science, and assisting with our sports nutrition program. Interns are required to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours/week, and the internship may be used for course credit. You will also complete an intern curriculum program designed to improve your knowledge and coaching skills and prepare you for the CSCS if applicable.
