Georgia: The University of Georgia Football Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking highly motivated interns to fulfill UNPAID internship positions with our Football program from January 2025 to May 2025. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, be professional, proficient and have a desire to become a sports performance coach. Candidates will also earn accredited hours under a Master Strength Coach needed for the SCCC certification through the CSCCa. Hours will vary throughout the year including early morning, late afternoon, or weekend hours. Internship responsibilities will include various duties within the UGA Football S&C Staff. New Hampshire: New Hampshire is looking to hire graduate fellow strength and conditioning coach. Graduate Fellow Strength and Conditioning Coaches will have the opportunity to gain hands-on coaching experience in a Division I setting. Fellows will design and implement a year-round training program for (1-2) one to two teams under the direction of current staff members. Fellows will also work with all teams including but not limited to Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey, and other Olympic sports when scheduled under the direction of the Strength and Conditioning Staff. Fellows will assist with all other daily logistical tasks in the varsity weight room. Fellows will participate in, and complete continuing education material given by staff that co-inside with their current course curriculum with Merrimack College. Candidates that EXCEL within the internship program will also have the opportunity earn the accredited internship hours needed for the SCCC certification through the CSCCa as deemed by the Director of Strength and Conditioning Paul Chapman. Preferred qualifications: Current CSCS, current USAW Level 1, and experience design and implementing strength and conditioning programs for teams. Liberty: The Liberty University Football Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for the positions of VOLUNTEER INTERN for Winter Semester of 2025. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES will include but are not limited to assisting in the implementation of the Strength and Conditioning programs; set up and break down for daily activities, routine maintenance and cleaning of the training facilities, and participation in the internship curriculum. NO MONETARY COMPENSATION, HOUSING, OR TRANSPORTATION will be provided, however, Interns will receive experience working in a Division 1 training environment and have the opportunity to earn recommendations for future career opportunities and/or receive college credit if applicable. The Intern’s level of ambition will determine the level of the learning experience. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a strong work ethic and have a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Interns are expected to be punctual, enthusiastic, reliable, productive and consistent along with having the financial capability to hold the position for the duration of the internship. Ideal candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or be in the last semester of coursework earning and undergraduate degree in exercise science or related field of study. Certification from one or more of the following (NSCA, CSCS; CSCCa, SCCC; USAW) is preferred but not required. Liberty Creek (Gallatin, TN): Liberty Creek HS has a Physical Education opening for an assistant football coach that will also serve as the program's Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. The ideal candidate would have strength and conditioning experience at the high school or collegiate level and would currently hold or be willing to obtain CSCS certification. The ability to teach Olympic lifts and use/learn emerging technology is a must. Football Coaching position is flexible. Liberty Creek is a 3-year-old school with a multi-million-dollar indoor facility that includes 10 double sided racks and a 40-yard regulation width indoor turf field. We have made the playoffs and won playoff games in each of our first two seasons of playoff eligibility.
