Santa Clara: Santa Clara University Sports Performance is currently seeking applicants for 1-2 Volunteer Sports Performance internship positions for Summer 2021 (Jun-Sept) and 3-4 positions for Fall 2021 (Sept-Dec). Start dates are negotiable. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist and coach 1-2 sports under the direction of a full-time sports performance staff member, receive hands-on experience with Catapult, FYTT, Hawkins Force Plates & other technology as assigned. The candidate will complete a curriculum as part of an NSCA CEU Approved Internship Program. Upon successfully completing the internship, the candidate will receive 2.0 CEU’s towards their recertification. This is a non-paid volunteer position; it does not provide college credit. Qualifications:
Currently possessing Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or a related field and in pursuit of a CSCS, USAW, or SCCC Certification. A strong desire to become a Certified Collegiate/Professional Strength & Conditioning Coach. Must hold current CPR, AED, and FIRST AID certifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with collegiate or professional athletes. Currently possessing CSCS, USAW, or SCCC Certification. COVID-19 Vaccination. Tulane: Tulane University Strength and Conditioning Department is currently accepting applications for volunteer interns for summer and fall of 2021. Positions are open for those interested in gaining experience in the field of strength and conditioning. The program can be tailored to an intern’s education, experience, and future professional goals. Job Description: Assist the strength and conditioning staff in all day-to-day operations of the Tulane University Hertz Center weight room. Duties will include but are not limited to; assisting staff in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for men’s and women’s basketball, leading group training, hands on experience, set up, and breakdown of training equipment and assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Qualifications: Pursuing or completed Bachelors or Master’s Degree in exercise science or a related field. Experience in a collegiate setting, and a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level preferred. Certification or working towards certifications with the NSCA-CSCS, CSCCA, and/or USAW. Compensation: This is an unpaid position. Eastern Michigan: Eastern Michigan Sports Performance is seeking highly motivated person to fill the Graduate Assistant position working with all 18 NCAA Division 1 sports teams. This is a one-year position for the 2021-22 academic year with reappointment for the 2022-2023 academic year, contingent on satisfactory work, academic achievement and completion of CSCS or CSCCA certification. This position will start May 10th, 2020. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree, experience working in a Strength or Sports Performance environment; currently hold or working towards a nationally- accredited strength and conditioning certification (SCCC or CSCS) PLEASE NOTE: Qualified candidates must be admitted to the EMU Graduate School. Applicants please submit a cover letter, resume, and professional references to Bryan Fink at bfink2@emich.edu.

Morehead State: Morehead State University is accepting applications for (2) Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning or Staff Assistant positions for the upcoming 2021 school year. This position will be for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic year and will include duties to cover a 10 month period starting August 1 st and ending in May each year (pending approval from administration). Nicholls State: Nicholls State is looking to hire a 12-month professional intern. This is a paid position. Responsibilities for the Professional Intern position will include designing and implementing a strength and conditioning program for all assigned teams and assisting with implementation of training programs for all athletic teams. Programs will include, but are not limited to, strength/power, conditioning, and speed and agility training exercises. This position will require constant communication with the Director of Sports Performance, head coaches for assigned teams, and the athletic training staff. Other responsibilities include daily maintenance and upkeep of the facility, occasional travel, and completion of any other duties assigned by the Director of Sports Performance. This is a 12 Month paid position. Pay will be to the amount of $10,000-$12,000 with housing provided. Grand View (IA): The Grand View Strength staff is accepting applications for 2 positions: GRADUATE ASSITANT (starting Summer/Fall) and INTERN (starting May), working with all sports. Responsibilities will include various duties within the Grand View Strength and Conditioning department. Candidates will be required to fulfill coaching curriculum, and receive valuable on-the-floor coaching. Responsibilities will be assigned as they are earned. Hours will vary during the summer and will include early mornings and late afternoons. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for various sports, daily maintenance and upkeep of facility. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold or be working towards, respectively, a BA/BS in Kinesiology or Exercise Science related field. CPR, First Aid and AED certification encouraged. Possess or be working toward CSCS through the NSCA or the SCCC through the CSCCa. CSCCa mentorship is available to assist your eligibility for the certification. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, positive energy, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic.
