Utah State: Bronco Mendenhall's strength staff will consist of Kody Cooke (head S&C), Stine Emrick (assistant S&C), Richard Burney Jr (assistant S&C), and Kevin Griffin (assistant S&C). Cooke spent last season at Tulsa as assistant AD for performance and strength, Emerick was also at Tulsa last season in an assistant role, while Burney was at New Mexico as associate director of athletic performance, and Griffin arrives from Tulsa as well.
Ashland (D-II - OH): Ashland is looking to hire an assistant strength coach. A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree preferred Applicants must have CSCS certification and CPR/AED certification Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills Applicants should have the ability to work with student-athletes and coaches in a one-on-one setting and be comfortable speaking to groups of various sizes Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations along with GMAC rules and regulations is required The ability to work weekends and evenings is required.
