Lee University (Cleveland, TN): Lee University (Cleveland, TN) is seeking 1-2 volunteer sports performance coaches/interns for 23-24 school year. Certified candidates will take 1-2 teams and can assist others. The position is eligible for the CSCCa practicum. Last year, Lee Flames became the first school to sweep the GSC Overall, Men’s, and Women’s All Sports trophies, and finished top-25 in Director’s Cup standings for third consecutive year. Coaches are very supportive & we have full autonomy. You’ll have free time for personal life, lots of outdoor rec options, 30min from Chattanooga. ULM: University of Louisiana Monroe Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking to immediately fill multiple (3) GA positions. Position 1- Head Mens Basketball strength (men's basketball only). Position 2-Head women’s soccer & tennis strength while assisting with football, & position 3- assistant baseball & football strength. All positions pay $750/month plus tuition or casual wage pay of $1000/month if candidate already has masters or doesn't get into grad school in time. The positions will be responsible implementing all aspects of Strength and Conditioning as dictated by the director of strength and conditioning and head coaches of each sport, including but not limited to programming, coaching, teaching and instructing Olympic movements, supervising, nutrition, scheduling, assisting with the internship program, and other duties assigned. Qualifications: bachelor's degree, Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, acceptance into ULM Graduate school (if wanting to be GA, not casual wage). Georgia Tech: The Georgia Tech Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for Volunteer Interns for the Fall of 2023. This internship will begin August, 2023 and will conclude at the end of December, 2023 with an option to stay another quarter. This is an unpaid position. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Assisting with the supervision and execution of the strength and conditioning program for Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, and Men’s & Women’s Tennis. All applicants should have, or be working towards an accredited certification (CSCS or SCCC). Other preferred qualifications include previous coaching in a collegiate setting. Applications will be taken until the positions are filled. All potential applicants are strongly advised to make sure this internship is economically feasible before applying. Utah: The University of Utah Football Sports Performance department is seeking more volunteer interns for the Fall 2023. Individuals will gain knowledge and experience in programing, coaching, VBT, GPS tracking and data management and study sessions for certification exams. Qualifications: • Prior experience preferred (collegiate, private facility, personal training) • Strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach • Certification/progressing toward certification by the CSCCa and/or NSCA • BS/MS or demonstrated coursework towards degree in exercise science or related field. Start Date: (Aug 21st), 2023. End Date: End of the Semester. (this date is negotiable). This curriculum includes programming projects to improve coaching ability on the floor, how to network within the profession and prepare for future job opportunities, CSCS exam preparation with full time staff. etc. Teams: Include but not limited to: Football and Men’s Tennis.
