St. Francis (NAIA - IL): The University of St. Francis (IL) is actively seeking a Part-Time Strength and Conditioning Coach. The position will report directly to the Director of Athletics. Responsibilities include overseeing strength & conditioning programs for college varsity athletics. Hours will vary depending on sport. Other responsibilities include: daily maintenance and upkeep of the facility. The Part-Time Candidate will receive a $12,000 stipend split between the fall and spring semesters, gear, valuable hands-on coaching experience in all aspects as well as the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of Strength & Conditioning. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelorβs degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or a related field. Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC). Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification. Robust knowledge of strength and conditioning principles and techniques. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, positive energy, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and grit. Start date is immediate.
