USF: University of South Florida Football Strength and Conditioning is currently seeking volunteers for an UNPAID internship for the Summer of 2023. Qualified individuals who are chosen will have the opportunity to assist, and learn from a Division 1 Football Strength and Conditioning Staff. All that apply must possess great work ethic, energy and character. As well as exceptional communication and organizational skills. Potential candidates must have a strong desire to progress in the field, as well as the desire to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning. Previous experience as an intern in the collegiate strength and conditioning setting, or coaching experience in athletics is preferred, but not required. Duties include, but are not limited to: set up and break down of all football training sessions, consistent facility maintenance, data entry, assist the full-time staff in all football training sessions in compliance with NCAA rules, and other duties as assigned by the full-time strength and conditioning staff. The Summer Volunteer Program is set to start on May 17 th , 2023 and will conclude on July 28 th , 2023. ULM: University of Louisiana Monroe Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking to fill multiple Professional intern positions ($1000/month) or Graduate Assistant positions (approx $800/month plus tuition waiver) The positions will be responsible implementing all aspects of Strength and Conditioning as dictated by the director of strength and conditioning and head coaches of each sport, including but not limited to programming, coaching, teaching and instructing Olympic movements, supervising, nutrition, scheduling, assisting with the internship program, and other duties assigned Qualifications: bachelor degree, Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, current certification through the NCSA (CSCS), CSCCa (SCCC) or USAW. MUST be proficient in the Olympic Movements.
