Oregon: The University of Oregon football program, under the direction of Head Strength Coach Wilson Love, is accepting internship applications for winter (current to March 10), spring (March 31 to June 6) and summer (June 23 to August 15) 2025. Applicants must have strong work ethics as well as a strong desire to become a professional strength coach. This is an unpaid volunteer position, and is structured for those interested in pursuing a career in strength and conditioning coaching. Work hours will range from early morning to early evening, and workdays will range from 5-7 days per week. Responsibilities include set up and tear down of weightroom and running workouts, periodic weightroom cleaning, equipment maintenance, record keeping, restocking of refueling stations, and participation in the professional development component of the internship program. Qualified candidates will receive invaluable insights of on-floor training of a FBS football program, as well as gaining firsthand experience in the latest coaching techniques and establishing a network of professional references. Dean (D-III - MA): Dean College seeks a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for its NCAA Division III athletic program. This full-time, 10-month position reports to the Director of Sports Medicine and Strength and Conditioning. The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes in the College's 16 intercollegiate sports. This role aims to enhance athletic performance, reduce injury risk, and promote the overall health and wellness of student-athletes. Additionally, the position provides oversight for all activities associated with the operation of the campus fitness centers and varsity weight room. Salary commensurate with experience.
