Hiram College (D-III - OH): Hiram College invites minority candidates to apply for the position of Director of Peak Performance and Fitness. Due to receiving a grant this position is available only to minority candidates. The Director of Peak Performance and Fitness is a full-time, 12 month staff position which reports to the Director of Athletics. The Director of Peak Performance and Fitness is responsible for providing guidance and training to all athletic teams in the area of performance, fitness, strength training, conditioning, nutrition, and injury prevention. The Director is responsible for the oversight, scheduling, and maintenance of the weight room and cardio room. The Director will supervise all student workers and interns assigned to the weight and cardio room. The Director will work with other members of the Hiram campus as requested. Midwestern State (D-II - TX): Midwestern State is accepting applications for a full time Strength & Conditioning coach for all sports with an emphasis on Football. Bachelors Degree in Health and Human Performances or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Certification is required from one or all NSCA, CSCCA, or CSCS. Lee (Cleveland, TN): Lee University Sports Performance is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach for the 2023-24 school year to program and implement training for 5-7 teams; projected start date August 2023. Pay will be 12,500 August through April. Lunch and some gear will be provided, and CSCCa conference and exam would be paid for. Candidates’ time commitment will be as flexible as possible to allow for supplemental work/income, personal life, etc. Candidates are eligible to sit for the CSCCa exam after completing the practicum under our CSCCa Certified Mentor. The Lee Flames have swept the Gulf South Conference Overall, Men’s, and Women’s All Sports Trophies during both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years, with an 11th place D-II Director’s Cup finish in 2021-22. Idaho State: Idaho State University Football Sports Performance is currently seeking volunteers for an UNPAID internship for the Summer of 2023. Qualified individuals will have the opportunity to assist, and learn from a Division-1 (FCS) Football Sports Performance Staff with over 40+ years of combined field experience. Qualifications: All that apply must possess great work ethic, energy and character. As well as exceptional communication and organizational skills. Potential candidates must have a strong desire to progress in the field, as well as the desire to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning. Previous experience as an intern in the collegiate strength and conditioning setting, or coaching experience in athletics is preferred, but not required.Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: setup and breakdown of all football training sessions, consistent facility maintenance, data entry, assisting the full-time staff in all football training sessions in compliance with NCAA rules, participation in summer curriculum, and other duties as assigned by the full-time sports performance staff.When: The Summer Internship Program is set to start on May 30th, 2023 and will conclude on August 11th, 2023.How: To apply, send an email with your cover letter, resume, and list of three professional references in one file to Brandon Stephens, Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Performance at brandonstephens@isu.edu.
