Significant news for the Pac-12 (Featured)

As of today, coaches at multiple Pac-12, California based programs had not yet been able to even return to their offices.

In speaking with multiple Pac-12 coaches over the past week there was a significant level of concern for being able to play any games this Fall at all.

This afternoon, however, brought a bit of good news.

The State of California announced interim guidance specific to college staffs that seemingly should provide a path to teams beginning Fall camp soon in the coming weeks.

Of note, the guidance only requires teams to "consider testing at least 25% of their team and staff population every week."

If teams can demonstrate they can handle camp with no significant uptick in cases; hopefully this will lead to California allowing games to be played. Hopefully.

Tip of the cap to Jon Wilner for shedding light on this news.
