Rhett Rodriguez entering the family business (Rhett Rodriguez)

Rhett Rodriguez, son of Rich, has joined Jacksonville State's staff as an analyst, the program has announced.

After growing up in Morgantown and Ann Arbor, Rhett Rodriguez attended high school in Tucson, then played at Arizona. He played in 11 games at quarterback for the Wildcats from 2017-20, remaining on the roster for three seasons after his father's firing, before transferring to ULM in 2021 to once again play for Rich.

Rodriguez opened the season as the Warhawks' starter, but missed six games in the middle of the year due to a punctured lung. He returned to action for ULM's final three games, and for the year completed 70-of-137 passes for 799 yards with four touchdowns against three interceptions.

Rodriguez has spent the past two years working as a business development associate for Northern Trust Corporation in Tempe, Ariz., according to his LinkedIn.

Jacksonville State is 18-6 under Rich Rodriguez's leadership, including a 9-4 mark with a New Orleans Bowl victory in their inaugural Conference USA season last fall.
