Dating back to his days as a player, well before Coach Prime's arrival in Boulder as the head coach of the Buffs, he was a quote machine. There's just something special in his DNA.
The bright lights became a whole lot brighter around him once he was tasked with rebuilding the Colorado program, and his quotes have populated headlines across the country in the months since then.
Surprisingly (to some at least), the results have come just as fast through the first two weeks with wins over both TCU and Nebraska.
Heading into this week's in-state rivalry with Colorado State, with College GameDay coming to town, Prime was asked if he's been able to take a step back and enjoy their early success.
"No. Santa ain't got time. He's gotta deliver the gifts," he answered, before expanding with some more Christmas references
"He ain't got time to enjoy his cookies. That's all he gets, and I ain't got time for that. I've got to keep it going. I've got to keep this machine going and make sure we stay on the right path and make sure we're locked in and focused on the right things.
