Lou Esposito, a Memphis alum, is slated to move back to the great state of Tennessee. Sources believe this deal will be finalized as early as tomorrow.
Espo currently serves as defensive coordinator at Western Michigan. He has been on staff at WMU since 2017 and has worked with the defensive line the entire time.
After serving as defensive coordinator at Ferris State, Espo would go on to serve as head coach at Davenport University before returning to WMU before the '17 season.
An offensive lineman at Memphis, Espo was team captain in both '99 & 2000.
Esposito is expected to work directly with the defensive line and is expected to carry co-defensive coordinator title as well.
