Sidney (MT): Roger Merritt, who has led the program the last 13 seasons, has submitted his resignation. Merritt spent a total of 39 seasons with the program.
Marshall County (KY): Paducah (KY) assistant Nick Bloodworth is the new head coach.
East Troy (WI): Wyatt Jentz has accepted the head coaching job.
Lovejoy (TX): Chris Ross, an accomplished Texas high school coach, is stepping down to become the offensive coordinator at Stephen F. Austin (FCS - TX).
Okemos (MI): Okemos HS is looking for an experienced Offensive Line Coach at the Varsity level. Must have a solid understanding of basic blocking schemes and techniques. Commitment to offseason trainings would be necessary. Specific teaching positions within the district are not known at this time. We’d like to fill this role quickly. Faith Academy (AL): Eric Speakman, the former head coach at Opelika (AL), will be the new head coach. He replaces Jack French, who retired last month.
East Troy (WI): East Troy HS is looking for assistant coaches for the 2024 season. Coordinator opportunities will be available for the right candidates. Brother Rice (Chicago, IL): Brother Rice HS is looking for a Varsity Coordinator. Coordinator can be either side of the ball as we are looking for best fit. Brother Rice competes in the Catholic League Blue Division (highest division). Candidate MUST have prior experience as a Coordinator. John Paul II (Okatie, SC): John Paul II Catholic School located in Okatie, SC has an opening for a defensive coordinator. We are a private Catholic school that plays in the SCISA organization. Currently our HS football program only consists of a varsity team. A coaching stipend is available with this position. Hartselle (AL): Bert Newton has been named head coach. He previously served as the program's associate head coach / defensive coordinator.
Steinbrenner (FL): Steinbrenner on the outskirts of Tampa in Hillsborough County. Looking to fill positions for a DC & WR coach. We have an immediate Science teaching position open with other teaching openings for next school year to be known in April. Coaching stipend also available. In the last 4 years we have won 2 District titles, a regional title & a state semifinalist. We also have won 8 consecutive State Academic titles. Our kids and coaches win on and off the field by building each other up through our Culture & brotherhood. Hoover (AL): Clay-Chalkville (AL) head coach Drew Gilmer will be the new head coach at Hoover, per The Trussville Tribune.
RJ Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC): RJ Reynolds HS is looking for coaches to add to our staff for the upcoming season. Priority will be given to those with a background in defensive backs (corners or safeties). We currently have openings in math, Restorative Practice, EC, and potential openings in the future. No PE available. We have a good staff with multiple former HCs as well as great young coaches. We are looking for coaches that want to come in and help build a program in one of the toughest conferences in the state.
