Jenison (MI): Sources tell FootballScoop that Chelsea (MI) head coach Josh Lucas has accepted the head coaching job at Jenison. Lucas led the Bulldogs to an undefeated season and state title in 2021 when he was named Detroit Lions Coach of the Year. Official announcement expected in the coming days.
Calvary Christian (Ft. Lauderdale, FL): Calvary Christian Academy in Ft. Lauderdale Florida is a covenant Christian school where all students, staff and coaches are born again believers saved by accepting Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sins. Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA): Hampton Roads Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced football coach to join our community as a full- time faculty/staff member for the ‘24-’25 school year. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about restoring and sustaining our 11-man varsity program, which is currently in year three of a deliberate rebuild through the middle school level after a brief run as an 8-man varsity program. Our strategic plan involves a junior varsity 11- man season for the fall of 2024 followed by 11-man varsity seasons for the fall of 2025 and beyond. Flexibility exists with teaching assignments, and a teaching license is preferred but not required.
